Attracted by the caramel fragrance around the corner, we went in and got a milk tea dorayaki which cost ¥250.
We brought it back to our hotel and the caramel inside the two little pieces of pancake melted to the optimal condition when we opened the package. And the milk tea fragrance filled up our room. Tiny tea leaf powder can be seen in the moist pancake pieces, balancing the sweetness of the caramel paste in between. This was soooo good!

This place was within walking distance from my hotel and still open at 2pm. A cosy family run with simple menu and great hospitality.
Ordered the prawn and vegetables tempura udon which was a bit salty at the first sip. The hot noodles offered a comfort food on a cold, windy day.
Their signature seems to be the cold/ hot white bean soup dessert. Tried the hot version with red bean and rice cake - amazing combination and balance of flavours.
