Originally built in 1896, this stone dock is the oldest surviving commercial shipyard in Japan, now beautifully restored and reborn as a public event space. By day, it’s peaceful and grand… By night, it transforms with projection mapping shows and stunning illumination displays.

Didn't get a chance to experience it at night; during the day it was a quiet, bottom-of-the-moat-ish place, across the parking lot from the mall (I approached it from the Mall and felt "surely not," but I was doing it correctly), loaded with restaurants.
