Perhsps the cut is too thin and may not be the premier part. The beef tongue is not salty compared to a similar restaurant at Tokyo. As the beef tongue / steak are charcoal grilled, both sides are slightly brown in colour. Good smell and nice cooking. Both thin and thick cut of beef tongue are quite average and do not give me any surprises. Prices are slightly at the high side for thick cut.

I bought a 6 piece ox/beef tongue set. The taste is very unique and somewhat delicious. However, it is very chewy. I got tired of eating it after the 4th piece. It is also quite expensive. I paid about 3500+ yen for the set.

I dont think this was worth it. Maybe if you wanted to try beef tongue, order a smaller...
