KMM Folk Music Museum — Attraction in Kaunas

I am a 40-year-old woman with no children and I found this museum FANTASTIC! I’m actually writing this right now from a bean bag on the floor as I listen to some of the music available near the beginning of the exhibits - it’s just that good that I felt compelled to write this immediately. 😂 The information is laid out so well and is incredibly interactive. It is absolutely worth the super low entrance fee. The instruments and music available are just so fascinating - who would’ve thought I would discover a love for neofolk Lithuanian music...

One of the best museums of music I've ever been) You will feel and hear music here. This is a modern interactive museum where you can play musical instruments, listen to the music and create musical compositions! Cool place)) There's a great collection of traditional Lithuanian musical instruments and the separate building with unique old piano and keyboard. You will get only positive emotions! I definitely recommend this museum. It would be interesting to visit both kids and adults. Extremely positive...

We had lots of fun in this small but full of surprises museum. The staff was very helpful and friendly, our kids had a blast trying out different music instruments, singing along a few folk songs, playing music games and learning a few folk dances! On top of it, it is free for kids and not expensive for adults. One of the staff members is a folk musician himself - was nice to see him playing in the videos when we were trying to learn the folk dance moves. We will definitely...
