MAD Brothers — Restaurant in Kaunas

Had lunch as a mid-sized group and 80% of our party was long done with their meal before I got mine. I got up to tell them I didn't want it anymore, as we were wanting to go on our way, and crossed the waiter with it.

This was the worst luck of my life, honestly, although I wouldn't find out until a couple of hours later. The food was lukewarm, as if it had been made an hour before and forgotten about (which is totally what happened), and had the taste of a mediocre frozen meal. Still, it is insane to think that a "Mexican" dish with no spice at all would give me the worst food poisoning of my life, having me run home to watery diarrhea at first, then projectile vomiting at 3AM (the taste of the meal being coming out only slightly worse than the original going in), and losing, so far, two days of my life trying to hydrate with isotonic drinks and struggling to keep them down.

The beef inside the burger was really nice and juicy. The salad and chilli dip were both very cold, like they'd just been taken out of the fridge. The hot mayo sauce in the burger was delicious, but also stone cold, which meant the burger was both hot and cold when you bit into it.

Very difficult and messy to eat as it was served on a small slate with no edges (a plate would've been so much better). Some of the cutlery was dirty.

Me and my girlfriend went here for Valentine’s day because it was close to our airbnb and other places were full haha. But we were not disappointed!
