Old Green Grill House in Vilnius offers a blending modern European cuisine with a cozy, historic atmosphere.
The restaurant is housed in a unique 3-story building in the heart of Vilnius. It has a charming, vintage-inspired decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The menu focuses on European and Lithuanian dishes. We were a group of 20 people and we ate ร la carte. I have ordered a tuna steak in medium rare but with all those people that had to be served at the same time, it was served well done, which is a pity with such a filet piece.
We must have been there in a unlucky moment because we have waited 90 minutes from tje order until the service came. Also the cash register machine was on strike later on. This may happen.
However, the young staff which consisted exclusively out of young friendly ladies served the plates in a kind manner and opened tjhe bottles of champagne that we have ordered.
As a suggestion, I would say they could use ice md water to keep the bottle cool as the ice alone cools just the bottom of the bottle. The Moรซt & Chandon on the menu was not available and the Laurent Perrier was on higher price and isn't my first choice.
Overall, the Old Green Grill House has delivered a medium quality. I suppose that we hit an unlucky moment but unfortunately it...

Location: ๐๐๐๐๐๐ (5/5) Food: ๐ฝ๏ธ๐๐ (2/5)
Recently, I visited the Green House Restaurant ๐ฟ, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The location is truly fantastic ๐๏ธ, with a beautiful and serene atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for a date night ๐ or a relaxing family dinner ๐ฅ. With lush green surroundings ๐ณ๐ณ, it feels like an oasis in the midst of the city ๐.
However, I was quite disappointed by the food ๐ฒ. I had high expectations, considering the lovely setting, but the dishes served were below average ๐. The presentation was not up to par ๐๐ซ, and the flavors just didn't come together as they should have. I found the menu lacking in variety, and the dishes I tried were quite bland and uninspiring ๐ฒ๐.
The service, though, was friendly and attentive ๐โโ๏ธ๐. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience slightly better. But, sadly, it couldn't make up for the lackluster food quality ๐ฝ๏ธ๐.
In summary, the Green House Restaurant ๐ฟ is a great spot for its picturesque location ๐ณ๐, but the food is a letdown ๐ข. If you're looking for a scenic venue for a special event ๐, you might consider it; but if your priority is a delicious culinary experience ๐ฝ๏ธ๐คค, I suggest you explore...
ย ย ย Read moreA great disappointment after a few pleasant previous visits. We ordered pork tenderloin with fresh vegetables. When the food arrived after approx 30 min, it looked disappointing: the meat looked dry and the fresh salad was very scarce: a piece of salad leave, several small pieces of cucumbers, tomatoes and bell pepper plus an amount of marinated olives from a can. We were hungry so we tried out the food: the bigger pieces of meat were edible, but the smaller ones were completely overcooked, dry and unedible. The waiter pointed out that it's my fault not to return the food immediately; thanks for the tip, it never happened to me before at a restaurant. This gastronomic and cultural experience cost me 30 euros and I left still hungry (at least I drank a glass of beer). Even McDonalds gives more value for money. It's a pity because we liked it here for burgers, but surely no more risk and no more...
