Food was excellent, but service was very disappointing, totally spoiled our festive mood. We ordered by phone a table for more than 10 people and were informed that in this case we would be proposed a mini menu, which I understood as having less choice and ageed (funny thing, that this mini menu did not have prices written and we had to ask our waitress for a price of each meal). I was surprised that our waitress was showing dissatisfaction with our orders (should be never done by any waiter!) Later she told us that we should have ordered 3 meals each - that’s what mini menu meant. Sorry, but we were not informed. And what a stupid, rigid rule. When we were asking for drinks at the beginning, she answered quite unpleasantly, that she would come later to take order for drinks, because first she had to pour water into our glasses. Thanks, but some of us did not want water and we could have served ourselves. What is more important - the formal protocole of the restaurant or that clients are happy? There was a lack of attentiveness during the meal, we had to search for a waiter to get more wine (the girl at the bar was in her phone), though the restaurant was half empty. Later we had to fight really badly to be able to pay each for their meal… We have a big experience of having lunches or dinners in big groups in Lithuania, and never encountered such a problem! Even in small regional towns. And totally did not expect that to happen in a high-class restaurant in Vilnius. She required one person to pay for everyone, when were a big group of colleagues, each departing next early morning to different destinations, not having cash… And plus the restaurant automatically added a 10 percent fee for service because of our big group (again not informed during our phone reservation), though normally in Lithuania it is a client who decides to leave tips or not, a norm of tips being between 5-10 percent of a full amount. And this was for a really bad service. The emotional experience was the worst. This was our big festive occasion with a mood spoilt by the restaurant. Will never return there. Sorry for...
Read moreNot first, but definitely the last time here. Had to wait for 10 mins to be seated and ended up just randomly sitting anywhere, although we had a reservation. A waitress was rude and sassy. I might understand that some waitresses might have that “style” but the girl barely knew the name of the dishes and had none if understanding of what is served along with them. Some mistakes were made and the waitress said it come not from her side, but ours. Run to grab a menu to prove it for us and ended up knowing that it was her mistake. We had benedicts and buckwheat for brunch. The food was slightly too salty. After mentioning this to staff, we heard some excuses about ingredients, etc. Would be enough just to say “ok, got it. I Will transfer notes to the kitchen”.
Previously we loved the place, but it’s changed and not worth to be visited.
The only good thing was the view of...
Read moreUpdate: this place still is SHEIT! Decided to give it another chance, but after waiting for someone to serve us for 20+ mins we just gave up..
It used to be very nice, but has changed (and we most likely were unlucky) for the worst. Everything was wrong during our last visit: nobody greeted us when we arrived, we had to search for someone to sit us down (multiple people arrived like that after us and were just standing, waiting) - the manager (Monika?) looked like she doesn't care and was not bothered to make any effort the table was not prepared (missing cutlery) and failed to prepare even after we sat down we had to ask for water twice our order took forever to make (90 minutes for soup!), although the restaurant was definitely not busy food was salty and dry
All in all, looks like it's time to change the manager, retrain the staff and fix the...
