I had to wait for 15 minutes at the entrance of the door to be seated although there were free tables and two waitresses and a waiter at the entrance who saw me waiting but they were busy talking to one of the customers who obviously was their friend. After sitting in a table I had to wait for another 10 minutes for someone to bring me the menu. When an employee, who was working behind the bar serving drinks, saw that I was sitting without a menu, she came and brought one (she was the only kind waitress). When the dishes came they were thrown on the table by another waitress. When it was time for me to pay a third waitress came (the same who was at the entrance and constantly neglecting me) and was speaking to me in Lithuanian even though I was talking to her in English. So in one night three different waitresses served me. While I was having lunch a man who was obviously drunk fell on a table in which two women were sitting and caused some disturbance to the atmosphere but no waiters were there to show this man the exit. The food is great but the service has a serious problem. People don't go to a restaurant only for the food but also for the service and for the...
Read moreMe and my partner came for lunch during rush hour. The place was busy, but we were served pretty quickly. Starters arrived quickly. I had saltibarsciai, which were very tasty, especially on the hot day. However, my partner was not impressed with his starter. It was 3 pieces of hearing on black bread with some mushroom and boiled potatoes. It looked more like amuse bouche rather than a starter. I think it was 7 or 8 euros, which is too pricy. I had duck for the main, which was okay. However, I would rather have it more pink. My partner had Mediterranean mussels. He was disappointed. Sauce was watery, and therefore, mussels were dry and overcooked. It was served with fries, which didn't make much sense and would have been much better with a bit of bread to dip sauce in. But as sauce was water, it was all on the bottom of the pot and not much of it. There is no bowl to clean hands either. Good bathroom and changing facilities. However, it seemed they lacked baby chairs as we were lucky to take the last one. All in all, my food was okay, but my partner was pretty disappointed. Friendly staff and speaking good english. It's a bit too pricy for what we...
Read moreWe chose this restaurant as a place to celebrate a birthday in a small family circle. We booked a place in advance and announced in advance that one of the guests had a birthday. when we arrived, no one remembered about us, as a result, we took a seat in the hall. the food was quite greasy and not tasty. we were also not warned in advance that the kitchen closes at 10pm today (although it was said on the phone that they would be warned about this). And it is also turned out that the pastry chef of the establishment had left 15 minutes ago. after that, we were asked to pay the bill, although it was still 50 minutes before the restaurant closed. And while we were sitting, the waiters began to clean the tables and chairs around, although I repeat that almost an hour remained before the restaurant closed. however, it is impossible not to note the work of our waitress, who tried to smooth out the situation as much as possible and, in addition to apologies, brought another piece of tart in honor of the birthday. As a conclusion, we can say that the restaurant is designed simply for a large tourist flow and it definitely should not be chosen as a special...
