First time visited even we have passed by many times. A surprise to me that their food standard is much better comparing to nearby JP restaurants. We have ordered the Ebi An chawanmushi, the steam eggs is smooth and the prawn is also fresh. If they could cutting the prawn in larger size will be fantastic. Anyhow, is still very nice and good to try. (They offers more than 5 different styles of chawanmoshi) As for Mini ten, the tempura are crispy hot when served and the bowl of rice is just nice for one person, not too heavy for our lunch!! Tofu Miso Yaxi is something different comparing to traditional fried tofu, it skin is crispy and topping with some cheese, as the tofu remain soft and smooth. Imperial Ebi Maki is using the big prawn, outer wrap with mango. Could tasted the prawn is fresh. Nice to try it. I'm strongly recommend to try here if around JBCS area. We also thank you for the branch Manager, Mr. Andy for the great service and introducing their food chains & branches.
After a year when revisit here, noticed all the staffs are from Myanmar, they so much enjoying relex and singing song even guests are around. Food quality seem going down, the Garlic rice should be very nice here but now my wife complain too salty. The Salmon fish size is seem smaller and "just over"...
Read moreMy friend and I visited the restaurant on a Sunday. Upon seating, we noticed two families nearby, both expressing dissatisfaction with the slow service. The first family mentioned that their chawamushi never arrived during their entire dining experience, prompting them to ask the staff to cancel the order as they were preparing to leave after finishing their meal. The second family's father sarcastically commented when their food finally arrived, saying, "Oh, the food is finally here, thought they wouldn’t come."
As for us, our salmon sashimi was served promptly with our drinks. However, the rest of our order (Japanese curry rice, gyoza and chawamushi) took considerably longer, around 35-40 minutes. Also, the food did not even taste good, considering how cold they were when they arrived.
Despite there being approximately 5 service staff in the small restaurant, the service was still slow. It's unclear how many kitchen staff were working, but perhaps the restaurant manager can hire additional personnel or improve their processes to help speed up service. Our frustration was shared by other patrons, indicating a need for improvement in overall efficiency and food quality of...
