This road has undergone major upgrading and landscaping. The left side of the road is now a very nice park-like pedestrian walkway. There's even a man-made little stream in the middle of the walkway with fishes in it. The bus stops of yesteryear had also been relocated, reducing the roadside crowd and eliminating the messy traffic jams. But the roadside hawkers and performaners have also disappeared. With them, the old charms of Jalan Wong Ah Fook have gone with the wind. What a pity.
