海底捞火锅 新山真力店 Haidilao Huo Guo @ Zenith Mall — Restaurant in Johor

Dining at Haidilao has always been a treat, but my recent visit to the Zenith Mall outlet was, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant until the time I left, everything—from the food to the service—was nothing short of exceptional.

The warm greeting at the entrance immediately set the tone. Despite the evening rush, the staff were calm, welcoming, and efficient. We were seated quickly, offered drinks and snacks, and introduced to the menu system without delay. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing service provided by our waiter, 郑姿芸.

From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect dining experience. She was attentive without being intrusive, professional yet genuinely warm. Right from helping us navigate the menu to recommending the best soup base combinations (we went with tomato and mala – a perfect balance), she handled everything with knowledge and confidence.

When our food arrived, 姿芸 took the time to explain which items to cook for how long, and even helped us place some ingredients in the pot during the first round. It was these little thoughtful touches that really made her stand out. She noticed when our drinks were low, quietly replaced our plates when needed, and even brought over hair ties and phone covers without us having to ask. Her eye for detail and proactive attitude made us feel incredibly well cared for.

Beyond the amazing service, the food was as impressive as always. The ingredients were fresh, beautifully arranged, and plentiful. Watching the noodle master perform the hand-pulled noodle dance was a delightful highlight of the evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was clean, modern, and welcoming—with excellent spacing between tables to ensure a comfortable dining experience.

We also took advantage of the free manicure service while waiting for our table. The quality, cleanliness, and hospitality extended there were excellent as well, further reinforcing the premium Haidilao experience.

But again, what really elevated this visit above the rest was 姿芸’s outstanding hospitality. She didn’t just serve us—she anticipated our needs, made great recommendations, and constantly made sure we were enjoying ourselves without ever being overbearing. In many ways, she embodied everything that makes Haidilao so famous: thoughtful, service-oriented, and customer-first.

By the time we finished our meal, we felt genuinely grateful for the experience and especially for 姿芸’s role in making it so memorable. We made sure to let the manager know how impressed we were, and I hope this review helps highlight her dedication and professionalism as well.

If you're ever dining at Haidilao in Zenith Mall, I highly recommend asking for 姿芸. She turned what was already a great meal into a truly exceptional one. We’ll definitely be back—and asking...

First time dining at JB. My high rating was mainly for the price. Any negative feel was for the staff service/reaction which i will reveal later. For 2 pax, we can easily pay close to or over sgd $100 in singapore. We're very pleased that we never exceed that amount while dining at JB's HDL. We paid around $60++ for 2 pax in SGD.

This outlet have toilet which is very clean n tidy. There's a cleaner cleaning efficiently. There are some mentos candy/toothpicks/hdl famous black hair tie for us to take at the washing area outside toilet. They are thoughtful enough to provide mouth wash which I've never seen at SG's hdl. There's even hand lotion which is a plus point.

The condiments section was ok. Understand different country of hdl have different food serve. Was hoping to see Century pork congee HAHAHA which sg hdl have but I guess msia don't like porridge issit but it's OK. I'm ok with hot/cold dessert like Ai Yu Jelly..

The tomato soup base is as expected, just nice not too bland. Now the service part. I mean any regulars at hdl will want to get the most out of it not because we are cheapo it's more like we pay this much we expect certain hospitality given. Our usual routine before we leave we'll inform any attending staff to prepare Fruit Platter for us to takeaway and soya bean curd too..It's not too demanding I believe most regulars who understood hdl trademark hospitality do that or even more (like ask for more "free things").

But ya since we're first time dining at JB we don't know the hdl rules here maybe cannot tapao fruit platter must have reason like we celebrating birthday etc? I asked to tapao 4 beancurd she said "let me ask if you can tapao 4 or not" i was like ehh we are 2 pax 4 beancurd is a lot? Still need to ask permission we are approve or not. Ok we're approved by that senior she seek helped for checking whether we can take 4 beancurd. I asked her for fruit platter to go as well. She asked similar thing. "Let me check, I'm not too sure if you can taopao or not" I'm like what???? Lol sg never make us feel so low like LOW. We went to Taiwan hdl before too .. "ohh sure we will get fruit platter ready for you" not like this response ehh idk if you can tapao or not....

What's this? Hdl standard not the same across country one...JB is nice but for the price not with the service , it make us look like we're beggar begging for fruits. But we have the right to always ask for our entitlement. Or are we wrong to ask for something to takeaway??? I could be wrong please...

Been to Haidilao @ Zenith Mall several times, one of the best haidilao outlets. Soup is amazing, love their Nourishing Oatmeal Vegan Broth, savoury and hearty. Really hope that they will continue to keep this soup base! Another vegan/vegetarian option is their tomato soup (even though I am not a fan of it as it is too oily for me) but my friend likes it! All their ingredients are fresh and have quite a good spread of condiments. Service wise, we are always pleasantly served by their friendly staffs. As we have been there numerous times, here’s a shoutout to some really nice staffs whom we’ve met. 苏经理, always trying his best to make customers feel welcome and is well knowledgeable of the menu and the ingredients list, it is heartwarming to see him greet and chat with the customers. 惠思 is calm and patient, especially the way she handled the small problems we encountered with our food, we were impressed by her professionalism. 钰欣 is warm and friendly, always checking up on us, engaging conversations with us and making us feel comfortable. 伊玹 is amiable and never fails to ensures that we are well taken care of. Thankful to them. Also, wanna thank 浩荣 and 谢知生 who were our servers during our past visits, they really gave us a good impression of this HDL outlet. 浩荣 a dedicated server and has a great service attitude, always greeting customers with genuine smiles. 谢知生 is an outstanding and excellent employee who is not only friendly and nice, he is hardworking and provides awesome service, incredibly patient and attentive. Thank you the whole team for the many pleasant dining experiences....
