⁠Le Classic (Sunway Velocity) - Best Hair Salon in Cheras — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

I had very good experience from booking a slot from their Instagram page to getting my hair done at the Sunway Velocity branch. I still got replies from their page even at midnight. Gosh.

Alex - Amazing stylist, apart from doing my hair he had to multitask a lot of other customers coz there was a sudden influx of people who came in. I like how he sat down and try to understand what I want to achieve and he delivered. The color he recommended turned out so pretty and he did an excellent job with the Air Wave Perm Plus I wanted. He tried to explain what he was doing at every step. Very soft spoken and polite!

Nicole - attentive front desk! prepared biscuits and tea. Checked in when my cup was half empty and helped me refill.

Summer - She did a good job with the hair wash, gentle but thorough. ( I was impressed with the massage chair during the wash haha)

Leng - Very detailed manager, I could see that she did a good job managing the floor. She took time to explain how style my hair and ocassionally stepped in to help Alex blow dry my hair.

Benny - He did a wonderful job on my husband's hair - korean perm and color! :) He is friendly and a funny guy. My husband now looks like an oppa.

Overall I feel this team has great teamwork and communication.. of the 6 hours I sat there this is what I observed. The team here is hardworking and very good at what they do. Highly recommended! Price wise is matched with the quality of their work. Looking forward to my next visit!!

The stylist that attended to me advised to get a Brazilian keratin treatment instead of a bodily straight treatment as I wanted no chemical. It was about RM600++ for hair below shoulder length and the hair cut by a professional stylist was RM70++ however was given a first trial discount of RM100. I have to see how well the keratin treatment hold to judge if the price is worth it however I can tell by the end of the whole process that the stylist is too inexperienced to be charging RM70++ for my hair cut as the final hair cut was mediocre and rough, even my husband commented the same. I can tell that the stylist lacked skill to handle customer with thick hair and did not really focus on the haircut. I spent 3.5 hours there for the whole process but 30 min was just to wait for the stylist to come back to me as he was handling an earlier customer. Therefore after the first hair wash I was left there sitting for 20 min with the aircond blowing on my wet hair. I had told them earlier on the phone that any available stylist can do it for me when my appointment was fixed. I think the haircut only takes about 30 min plus while most professional stylist that really focus on detailed haircut will take about 1-2 hour just on cutting my hair. I also bring up to the hairstylist that the trainee who was left to blow-dry my hair alone for the keratin treatment burned my scalp as he was holding the hairdryer too close. Aside of all these, the hair wash was nice though however it was not enough to justify the total...

Went for a cut, color and frizz control. Overall experience was good. The hairstylists were patience and prices are transparent. Some waiting while the hairstylist attended other customers while waiting for my hair color to be started. The only dissatisfaction would probably be my hair color - I let the hairstylist to decide the color shade (mid to dark ash tone) but specifically told him my bad experience few years back and thus blonde is certainly a big NO-NO for me, and I also alerted him that my hair took shorter time than others to show the color appearance. The stylist agreed light/bright color may not look good on me (yeah I just got tanned from the 2-day Legoland trip). The hairstylist reassured that mine won’t look like his blonde hair before the hair coloring process but at the end he said I will look like his eventually 🤦🏻‍♀️ the whole process took around 5 hours and all I wanted was just go for dinner so I didn’t commented on that. The frizz control effect is so far so good though. Looking at the pricing and end results, I’d probably not coming back again, for hair colouring. I’m now regretting and thinking to have another hair coloring at another salon, but probably few weeks/months later to minimize the damage to my hair, guess I need to just bear with it for the time being… 😔 Their hair cut skill is recommended though, my gal likes her...
