There was an exhibition held by Melaka In Fact when I visited the museum. I learn so much from the guide person who is Chetti can speak Chinese and English. Suggest following Melaka In Fact on Facebook to get information. In addition, tourist could walk into the village. It's quite special experience.

I suppose to do a fashion show for my nursery children with the theme of Chetti Melaka. I came all the way from Johor to see, the culture and their way of life. But the museum is closed and none attended the call. Google states it's open at 9am but now it's 10am but not open. Just waste of my time.

Tried at 12:30 and 2:20 on Friday and it was closed. Someone in the neighborhood said they’re closed on Fridays to pray ; someone else said they’ve been closed for a while now.
