Very nice restaurant for a good nyonya meal. Distance is not too far away from Jonker i.e. just circa. 4 mins walk away. Driving will also be convenient given that there are ample free parking within the restaurant compound. Service was very good thru my patronage - welcoming and we were ushered to a table once we arrived. Complimentary keropok and sambal was provided as we pondered over the menu. Order process was seamless with the friendly manager providing really good recommendations. An advise - go with the recommendation with inputs on spicy levels of the dishes. We did not regret it at all. Portion size was managed just right for my family without us needing to ask. A great dining experience indeed. Food was good. The ladies fingers were done al dente accompanied with really good chilli blend. The pandan rice was excellent and so were the other dishes which I ordered i.e. sambal petai sotong & udang, otak otak and chilli garam fish. The fish was really delicious... crispy on the outside but done just right on the inside. Did not need the chilli garam at all. In fact, the insides tasted just like steamed fish 👍🏻. The fish served was a snapper by the way. The pineapple fried rice was nevertheless a tad bland but had a good quantity of cashew nuts, prawns and raisins. Finished off with a cendol dessert which was very good and highly recommended. Overall, a 5 star dining experience. The service staff was attentive but not too intrusive. Entertaining queries and recommendation was done with zest which is what one expects of a good restaurant. Kudos to the restaurant 👍🏻! Without doubt, will surely return in the near future.

This establishment certainly merits its 5-star rating, offering a combination of value for money and a wonderful atmosphere. The culinary experience here is highlighted by the exceptionally flavorful and authentic Baba Nyonya cuisine. Each dish is a testament to the rich culinary heritage, presenting an array of tastes that are both traditional and tantalizing. The standout dish, Nasi Pandan, is a revelation in itself. Infused with the subtle, fragrant essence of pandan leaves, this dish elevates the dining experience to new heights. It maintains its delightful flavor from the first bite to the last, leaving a lasting impression on the palate. The well-balanced blend of spices and herbs in each preparation ensures that every mouthful is a journey through the diverse flavors of Baba Nyonya cooking. Ending the meal with their Cendol is like the perfect closing chapter to an exquisite culinary story. This traditional dessert, known for its sweet and refreshing qualities, complements the rich and savory main courses. The Cendol, with its perfect combination of coconut milk, palm sugar, and jelly-like noodles, offers a soothing and satisfying conclusion to the meal. In summary, this place is not just about dining; it's an immersive experience into the heart of Baba Nyonya cuisine. With its wallet-friendly pricing, inviting atmosphere, flavorful dishes, and the delightful Cendol, it's a gastronomic journey that is both memorable and worth every penny.

the traditional Nyonya fare shines, especially with their signature dishes: Zap Chye and Chicken Pongteh. The Zap Chye, a robust and flavorful vegetable stew, features a rich medley of crunchy vegetables like cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms, simmered to perfection in a savory sauce infused with a delightful blend of spices. Each bite offers a harmonious balance of sweetness and tang, demonstrating the chef's mastery in melding complex flavors. The Chicken Pongteh, another highlight, is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authentic Nyonya cuisine. This classic dish boasts tender chicken pieces bathed in a fragrant, mildly sweet, and savory fermented soy bean sauce. The slow-cooked meat is incredibly succulent, absorbing the deep flavors of the sauce. Served with a side of fluffy rice, the Pongteh is a comforting and satisfying dish that truly represents the essence of Peranakan cooking. The restaurant’s ambiance complements the flavorful experience, offering a warm and inviting setting. With its meticulous attention to traditional recipes and ingredients, Peranakan Delight stands out as a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Nyonya dishes.

On a recent Monday, we visited this highly rated Nyonya eatery. The service was excellent; nevertheless, the seating area near the cashier was a tad heated due to the one air conditioner and two ceiling fans. We were unhappy with the cuisine. The anchovies with four angles beans and petai were excessively salty. The squid and prawn in sambal petai were not as fragrant as we had previously tried in other restaurants, and the sambal was also little bland. The ponteh chicken was very sweet. The ikan chilis pedas (fried fish in hot sambal) was not recommended since the fish was cooked in butter, which masks the flavor of the fish, and the sambal was not spicy or fragrant. We were also extremely thirsty at after the meal, most likely due to the excessive MSG in the dishes. By the way, we were the only locals among the seven tables of guests from 645pm to 730pm. The majority of them came from China and Hong Kong. We assume that the restaurant's cooking has been tweaked to accommodate the foreigners. Not recommended if you're seeking for true Nyonya cuisine.

Love this place. Their lady finger with chili (has lemongrass and lime) is superb. I tried the same dish at Nyonya Makko but I still prefer Atlantic One’s. Their Nasi Lemak (the green colour is from Pandan) is simply delish. If you want to visit this place, do make a reservation in advance to avoid making a wasted trip. After eating at this place on a tour, I wanted to bring my family there but they were always fully booked (for tours) twice. The lime chili can be purchased at RM25 a bottle BUT it is almost always sold out. Their sambal chili is RM15 a bottle and it’s very fragrant. Unfortunately I broke mine on the way home. Do store yours properly if you are bringing a bottle home! Gula Melaka is available at RM9 a pack. The restaurant consists of 2 shops (front and back). One side can take about 20 tables, the other side about 5 tables. From the smaller restaurant, you can exit and visit the snacks wholesale shop nearby. The snack shop items is about the same price as supermarkets but it has a good variety of childhood brands.q

I visited this restaurant with high expectations but unfortunately I left feeling a bit disappointed. I'm sure the food has its fans but unfortunately it was not to my liking at all because everything here tastes SWEET, and in fact too sweet for my liking. Ayam Ponteh - sweet. Chap Chai - sweet. Basically you don't expect these dishes to be sweet. Very odd to me. The cincalok omelette though not sweet tasted quite underwhelming - not enough of the cincalok pungency. The ikan chuan chuan was alright but also tasted too sweet after a while. The ngoh hiang was alright, just don't dip it in the accompanying sweet chili sauce. The green pandan rice tasted like nasi lemak. The only thing that I liked was the cendol because this one is supposed to be sweet and the accompanying gula melaka was superb and fragrant - perhaps one of the better ones I've had in Melaka. The service here is decent. The place can get noisy from the echoes that bounce off the somewhat bare walls.
