OVERALL 4.0 ⭐ FACILITIES 3.0 ⭐ MAINTENANCE 2.0 ⭐ AMBIENCE 2.0 ⭐ STAFF
Its our 1st time here, booked for 3d2n, 16-18aug, we have been quite regular at zenith kuantan since 2015 till now. So we expecting the same level of hospitality. Overall our experience, it's QUITE FAR from zenith kuantan quality of service.
Zenith cameron will not be our top5 choice for next time stay in cameron.
Ambience - the arrival is okay, good valet but door greeter could be better. The lobby ambience is like 3star hotel, lifeless and empty. No dustbin nearby lift. Lack of dustbin everywhere.
Checkin - the reception is just okay, seems like not been through good training. The conversation we feel is so not welcoming. However, good thing is we get the room at 2.30 instead of 3.00pm.
Room - room amenities is very good, lighting good, bed is comfy, balcony could be cleaner but is okay, amenities and arrangement is good. But, looks like 98% finished. Some detailing on bathroom could be better.
Housekeeping - very good, clean for daily housekeeping, fast and helpful for a request.
Parking - we parked on LG, spacious for the weekdays, dunno about weekend. However, we cannot find any dustbin at all, the cleanliness is just okay. And the wooden door is broken.
Breakfast - the choice is okay. Buy the variety seems not so match. On 17/8, so many salty food, from the sambal, soup noodle, especially fried yee mee.
However, on 18/8 we have BAD experience. Firstly, yes we do arrive late at 10am, we pick our food first, just about to start eat the female staff asked to change table due to closed section for some event later. There is already 4 plate of food on our table, i am holding my 2mth old baby, my wife handling our 6yr old daughter, why you did not told us earlier and not even offered help.
Fine, we start eating about 10.15am, my daughter is eating very slow which normal for a kid, my baby is crying thus me n my wife have to change hand. By 10.28am, a staff by the name Eiza, walk-by and said "Breakfast kita habis 10.30", literally the only word she saying to us while my daughter still eating her food. We already stop getting any food by 10.15am and focusing to finish our food. We really dont know what is her true intention, but the vibe we get is 10.30 we all have to go away. Such a mood killer, she should be handling us with some good words. The hotel management should be giving your staff a good...
Read moreFirst impression was that the room is clean and spacious. The bed was too soft, like the springs are old , any movement can be felt by your partner. Bathroom looks good, however water jet is small which is rare in Malaysia. I would have given the hotel a 4 star if not for a particular Viknesh who was patronising. |My spouse had food poisoning upon having dinner at a nearby cafe. The next morning he was feeling so weak from having runs the entire night. I approached the front desk to enquire about opening hours of pharmacies nearby. This was on Saturday 8 Jun. The staff on duty was very helpful, she tried calling at 8:15 am to check if the pharmacy was opened (website stated 8 am but they said shops do not normally open that early). Hence, my little boy and i headed out after breakfast. The concierge staff even recognised us later that afternoon and enquired if he was feeling better. That was a nice personal touch. By evening, my spouse was still unwell and I enquired on a potential extension if needed. The female staff that evening was very understanding ( I am sorry I failed to catch her name, she wore spectacles and was very kind) and said she would put in a note in the system so I can update them the next morning if i wanted to extend so that we would not need to move rooms. She kindly obliged my request for late check out at 1 pm in the event we were to head home. |On Sunday, I had to extend one night as my spouse still hasn't been able to eat or head out. That was when I met Viknesh who was patronising with his insincerity. He insisted that he cannot extend unless I make my payment (although a deposit was held using our credit card). When asked for a late check out after making payment in the event we needed more time to physically get my husband out, he not only did not offer any help and went on with the usual we cannot extend to 1 pm. I can understand that normal check in is at 3pm and the hotel requires time to clean the rooms, however, to extend an hour for a sick person isn't too much. If Viknesh is still around, this will not be a hotel I recommend as he gives the...
