Akka Samayal provided a fantastic catering experience that truly tasted like home. The food was incredibly tasty, with the biryani rice being especially aromatic and filling the room with its wonderful fragrance. We initially ordered for 30 people, but they generously provided more than enough to accommodate everyone. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flesh, making it a crowd favorite.

We also ordered breakfast for the next day(Nasi lemak, Roti Canai ,Currypuff and also Masala Tea).The nasi lemak and roti canai were absolutely delicious, and to top it off, the masala tea was the best we’ve ever had—perfectly suited for the cool climate of Cameron Highlands. We highly recommend Amma Samayal for any event, as they consistently deliver a satisfying and memorable...

This is literally a hidden gem right at the bus station. The canteen looks a little dim, but just go in and the shop is there!

Had nasi lemak for breakfast, the rice was light, savoury, and kept me going for the next spoon. Chilli egg complemented it very well. We ordered 1 plate but ended up buying another.

Later, came back for lunch, as the owner told she was making mushroom biryani and that absolutely hit the mark as well. The curry and biryani were both rich in flavour and spices. Do ask however, as the lunch menu changes day to day.

We found the shop via Google. We unable to go on the first day of our stay in CH because the food was finished by 3pm. They offerred breakfast and lunch only. However we managed to went there on the 2nd day for lunch. We called akka before we reached there. By the time we went there it’s already 2.40pm. The remaining food left was sambar and chicken sambal. My husband told her that I’m pregnant during the phone conversation. I’m surprised and grateful to see that akka store some of the dishes and she freshly cooked vegetables just for us. I’m speechless. The food was very delicious.
