I stayed here for 2 nights. Let me breakdown my experience below , Room The room was beautifully designed and spotless upon arrival, which I genuinely appreciated. However, the air conditioning was not functioning,Steamer was not working either and I had to request maintenance to fix it. Thankfully, Simon from room service promptly addressed the issue and was extremely polite and hospitable throughout the process. Despite this hiccup, the hotel's prime location in the heart of Genting remains a highlight, offering convenient access to nearby attractions. Dining The breakfast experience was a major disappointment, especially considering the premium price tag of the hotel. The hashbrowns were rock-hard, the croissant was stale and overly flaky, and, surprisingly, I was served tea without a cup. Adding to the dissatisfaction, I noticed towels with dirt marks, as though they had been wiped but not properly washed. To make matters worse, staff were arguing openly in front of customers, with one storming off and even pushing rails aside. The lack of professionalism and subpar food quality led me to leave without eating. However, Ms. See Ming stood out in this chaotic situation. Despite the overwhelming number of guests, she was attentive and ensured we were served, which I truly appreciated. Bar and Service The bar experience started off poorly. When I went down for the welcome drinks, I was told I couldn’t enter, even as a guest. To make matters worse, the staff seemed confused, with some saying yes and others no. It was embarrassing and frustrating. Thankfully, Gary resolved the issue swiftly, ensuring we were served and treated well. As for the cocktails, they fell short of the high standards one would expect from a luxury establishment. The choices were limited, the welcome cocktails were average, and the whisky sour I ordered was served with crushed ice—an amateur move for such a classic drink. It felt akin to the infamous “crispy chicken rendang” moment. Overall The hotel has great potential but falls significantly short in service and maintenance, which is unacceptable given the premium prices. While some displayed professionalism and dedication in their respective roles, better overall management , trained staff and facility upkeep are extremely important and needed, No one wants to pay exorbitant rates for an experience that feels like it’s worth just 20 RM and a nasi lemak. P.S. You can check the pictures out.

pretty much the pinnacle in the industry, including a free valet service if you book online, every single one of the workers are warm and attentive to your every needs. the room came with many complimentary things, a white wine bottle which has a high rating in vivino, a fruit platter, and high tea presented in a christmas tree platter. the room itself came with a christmas tree which was very thoughtful. it contains a one touch system that controls all lights and curtains, an impressive touch to an already exuberant room. when evening came, i was presented with a turndown set which includes more deserts, chocolate, lip balms and a pillow spray for a good nights sleep. expect many things to be printed with your name, a really nice personal touch. this hotel is like a advent calendar, uncovering cool things every corner you see, a standout feature from the rest. the service is deserving of a review itself. when we were brought to the entry way, a buggy service drives you to the lobby, as it is quite separated from the mall which i think is a good thing as it feels as if it's a retreat from the crowd in the mall. we were brought to the high tea area (you are pretty much escorted everywhere, and most things are done behind your back for you so you do not need to worry) and it was exemplary, offering great service from Melly and Zhi Wei (those were the names i remembered but all were extremely helpful) you can pretty much have any hotel related questions answered if you ask. next morning, room service came with lobster rendang nasi lemak, scallop and prawns noodle complete with tea, coffee, juices and pastries. when i left, i was given a souvenir gift bag containing nicely packed mangoes, tic tacs, a yogurt bar, rebina, a really cute crockfords bear and another wax sealed letter complete with my name printed. that said, i believe this is truly deserving of the title given by forbes. i definitely recommend you to this hotel. crockfords genting has heighten my standards for hotels.

Our stay at Crockfords Hotel was truly amazing! The service was excellent, and the staff were always attentive and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay. One of the delightful touches was receiving fresh cookies every evening, which made our stay even more special. If you feel cold in the room, don’t worry—they provide a heating fan upon request, which was a thoughtful and useful amenity. Room for Improvement: While the hotel experience was fantastic, the restaurant options could be improved. There is no buffet, and the menu choices are quite limited, with no dedicated kids’ meals. The dinner options are only Chinese cuisine, which may not cater to all preferences. However, SkyAvenue is easily accessible, offering a variety of restaurants to choose from. Transport Issue: We faced a small issue with transportation. A day before checkout, the receptionist assured us that taxis were available 24/7 and there was no need for advance booking. However, when we checked out, we were informed that no taxis were available. Luckily, we managed to get a ride via Grab. It would be great if the hotel could improve its transportation assistance for guests. Overall Experience: Despite these minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The free shuttle service was very convenient, making it easy to access SkyAvenue and the indoor theme park. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay in Genting Highlands, Crockfords Hotel is an excellent choice!

The hotel did not fail its reputation as Forbe's only 5 stars awarded hotel in Malaysia. Top notch hotel in Genting. No doubt it had to be the best. The lobby, room, service were great. The room was equipped with the smallest detailing and service was thoughtful. I cannot imagine myself staying at anywhere else in the future. There was even a buggy for a 100m from the lobby to the escalator. Short walk to Casino and Sky Avenue. Shortcoming would definitely be that the hotel should ensure all staff were properly trained. We booked a twin bed and received a king bed on check in. When we argued that was not the booking, the staff could only tell us that the hotel was full and could not accommodate. That was very disappointing. My sis was upset that she wrote an email to reflect the incident but service recovery only came on Day 2 night time to offer change of room which was too late because we were going to check out the next day. No gym and pool in hotel even though it was top notch. Even though we could use the gym in First World and pool at highlands hotel, we had to go there ourselves. The hotel should also advised that the complimentary parking came with the valet. We took pain to find car park ourselves and had to drive out to the valet to enjoy the complimentary parking. Despite the hiccups, i would still go back to Crockfords Hotel. I just hope the service standard would continue to strife to be the best. If not, the best hotel can also lost their credentials.

Spending a night here and cant wait to give my review before the end of my stay at Crockfords Genting claiming a 5 stars hotel and I was expecting a luxurious 5-star experience, but it fell far below my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was cold and inattentive. The front desk staff seemed uninterested, barely greeted us, and made no effort to provide a warm welcome. And there were only 2 frontdesk to served, we have waited for 10mins to be served, the staff seemed untrained and indifferent. It was far from the friendly, helpful service you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Finally 310pm we have got our rooms but not our requested room! (Request for twin bed instead of King bed) at the same time I was shocked by the lack of cleanliness of the room window. There is a swimming pool located at highlands hotel and Limo services from Crockfords to there but this Limo services like waiting and taking public 'bus services', pool not heated at all! For a “5-star” hotel, I expected far more in terms of comfort, elegance, homely feels, clean and convenience. And the hotel didnt mentioned “renovation” on the website only upon arrival, This was extremely disappointing and added to the feeling that the hotel wasn’t truly committed to offering a 5-star experience. In conclusion, Crockfords is far from a 5-star hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury or value. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Took the package with breakfast and dinner with cocktail as it’s holidays season and all the rest of the hotels are fully booked. Impressed with the room size and the top notch service but some of the room features and furniture needs better maintenance and the room temperature was hard to control. We have trouble getting the temperature to be above 20C every night. However, room was clean and there are desserts ,fruit platter and the Crockfords teddy for the kids. TWG teabags was available as well.Turn down service were great. We got eyemask one night and pillow mist/lip balm on the other Breakfast is good with one main course and a mini buffet. We tried all the mains over the 2 days and they were all good and delicious. Dinner location were not ideal as it’s near the Crockford club casinos and people were smoking. dinner service were a tab slower if you go at peak timing. Cocktail at the lounge beside dinner place served good cocktails. We tried all and they were all pleasant to drink. Delayed WC telecast was showing on the big screen. it’s advisable to drop the luggage at the dropoff point if you are driving and then proceed to park at the basement car park. Otherwise, it’s a long walk. The Carpark is immediately to the left once you exit the dropoff. Proceed to park at B2 or if cannot B3 to B7 are ok. Do remember to get the parking ticket verified at reception and at the auto pass machine before exiting the Carpark
