Bubbs & Bites — Attraction in Petaling Jaya

I went to Bubbs & Bites to eat my brunch. I went there before on this bill date and today I went there again for my 2nd time because it was written 5% cash rebate. Food was not too extraordinary (salted egg was tasteless) and environment was ok for cafe style. They have not enough workers to attend to their customers as I have to wait for about 15 mins to be served. 2 staff have to attend to barista serving and also as cashier and also the other staff has to serve and take order. After finished my meal, I went to cashier to pay for my bills and I asked the cashier about the 5% cash rebate. How do I claim that? The cashier told me they have no cash rebates. I also blur and agreed with her and didn't ask for the receipt. I came home and found this bill and it was written 5% cash rebate which I have scanned before. I felt I was cheated. Never go to this cafe as they just lured customer to go with the 5% cash rebate and then hope that customer will forget about the 5% cash rebate. If I insist on it , maybe I will get...

A decent restaurant in Kota Damansara . We order three dishes (prawn rice, pasta with fried chicken, waffle egg with fried chicken) and two drinks (camomile tea /long black). The food was decent. The fried chicken was nice but NOT as great as the lady owner had boasted.

The server was a lady owner and was very courteous. However , the restaurant lack experience server and solely relied on her to accept orders. She hurried our order and went to the next table.

This is what that left a distasteful experience for this restaurant . The restaurant allows pets (dogs) in the restaurant. We can accommodate small puppies but on that day, two large dogs was brought in by two girls I can't comment on what were on their mind but to bring in two large dogs was simply lack of common sense.

There were dogs hair in some area of the restaurant and this us a big turn off for us.

To summarise, we quickly left the restaurant and WONT be going there...

I was initially thinking to gatekeep this place 😂 but I do feel this place deserves a mention.

I stumbled across this cafe when I was googling "waffles". I do love my waffles; and this cafe did waffle-justice! 😂 Texture & thickness of waffles was just right (a lot of places either have waffles that are too thin/crispy or too thick/doughy) but I felt the ones here are just right 👌

I had the Fried Chicken Scrambled Eggs Waffles and it was good; taste, portion and price wise. I had the matchagato to suit and it was pretty potent for matcha that I had to request for some ice cubes to dilute the matcha (it's probably just me, I like my matcha slightly diluted) 😌

A nice cafe with nice ambience. It was quiet (but it's also cuz no one was talking loudly lol)

So overall 10/10 recommend even though I'm yet to try other items on...
