Read moreI absolutely love Tropicana Gardens Mall and everything about living near it. It has truly become one of my favorite places because it combines convenience, variety, and comfort all in one spot.
One of the best things about Tropicana Gardens Mall is its location. Being directly connected to the Surian MRT station makes it incredibly easy to get around without worrying about traffic or parking. I can simply hop on the train and reach other parts of the city effortlessly. Plus, its close proximity to 1 Utama Mall gives me access to even more shopping, dining, and entertainment options whenever I want a change of scenery.
The mall itself has a fantastic mix of stores and services. Whether I’m looking for fashion, electronics, groceries, or a quick bite to eat, I can always find what I need here. The variety of restaurants and cafés is also amazing—there’s everything from casual food spots to cozy cafés where I can relax and hang out with friends. On top of that, the mall is always clean, well-maintained, and safe, which makes every visit enjoyable.
Another thing I love is the modern and comfortable atmosphere. The design of the mall is spacious and inviting, with plenty of areas to sit down and rest. It feels like the perfect blend between shopping and leisure, which is why I never feel rushed or stressed when I’m here.
If I had one suggestion to make the experience even better, it would be to add a lift or escalators to the stairs that connect the MRT station to the mall. After shopping, especially when carrying heavy bags or walking with kids or elderly family members, climbing the stairs can be tiring. Adding this feature would make the mall even more accessible and convenient for everyone.
Overall, Tropicana Gardens Mall is not just a shopping destination—it’s a place where I truly enjoy spending my time. Between its convenience, accessibility, great variety of shops and restaurants, and the welcoming environment, it’s no wonder I...

Jan 2025: Mall is renamed from Tropicana Gardens Mall to IOI City Damansara mall. No longer pet friendly except for Just Pets, where pets are crammed in small area for the quick pleasure of the human customers. Not sure if other pet shops here are still around and there are many empty shops. Currently there are some Chinese New Year booths at the center.
Easy to get movie tickets in GSC Cinema, Uniqlo is spacious and easy to shop (not as many variety as other popular malls), affordable to slightly atas food (RM20+) and lots of toilet stalls. Near train station and if mall doesn't hv suitable food, can cross over to opposite area. Have several sports clothes n equipment shops. Beautiful wallpaper on empty shops.
Very limited clothes, computer/phone shop and entrance/exit for parking. Parking may have water drip n smell funny (even some areas near lift smell funny). Almost half of the shoplots are empty, esp top floors but lower floors are have customers.
