Salad Atelier (IOI Mall Damansara) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I wrote to your social media page but you guys don't bother read and reply... so leaves me no choice but to post here... couple weeks back I brought my tupperware for a takeaway, my order was : chick aglio olio, less chilli, less oil... I placed my order with the specific instructions to your staff at the cash register, paid and repeated : less oil, less chilli... already had a funny feeling they'll screw it up... I sat and waited 15 mins as this was post lunch time 240pm... kitchen staff prepared the food with his mask down under his chin while busily chatting away with his other colleagues (at the back) at the top of his voice while prepping the food and orders... was tempted to snap photos but I didn't... anyway finally my order was done and I collected and check the bottom of my glass tupperware and as predicted oil + chilli to the maximum, can see the pasta swimming in oil and chilli as its red and orange... I told the staff that took my order and he said to me its the special sauce they use, a special soy sauce... oh really?? this not my first time having this item and I've always ordered from 1mk and starling and the staff take orders well... YOU NEED TO SUPERVISE AND TRAIN YOUR STAFF PROPERLY AND ALSO TALKING WITH THE MASK DOWN ON THE CHIN IS...

I thought I’d give this place a try since it’s stated that they have vegan options. I checked out the menu just outside the premise and found some vegan options, one of which is the Monk Bowl. So I ordered it. But after I got it, I realised that there were some tiny translucent orange balls in my bowl, ringing some alarm bells about animal-derived ingredients. I looked back at the menu to see if The Monk Bowl actually has such an ingredient (caviar or fish roe) but it wasn’t stated. The server who took and served my order noticed my confusion and came over to check on me. I asked him what that was (referring to the balls that were most likely fish roe) and he replied some name I’m not familiar with and then clarified that they’re eggs. I immediately replied that I can’t take them so he took back my bowl and returned with it very soon after. Clearly, he only removed the huge obvious bunch of them but there were still some eggs scattered across the whole dish. I tried to push them aside but it was not salvageable and I was truly disgusted, so I cut my losses and left without...

To Salad Atelier, I am here to write a complain / feedback for this particular branch, there's an ongoing promotion going on from 4p.m -8p.m, the buy any main dish, free 1, Buka Puasa promotion. And there's no indication that I must ask the staff in order for the promotion to applicable.

I wasn't aware of the promotion, until a friend of mine asked the cashier, about it, and then all he said was "He did not ask me, so he cannot get the promotion" - Shohag (Staff's name).

Note: How am I supposed to know that the promotion is on going, when your staff doesn't even have the audacity to let me know upon paying that my order is applicable for the Buy any main dish, free 1 promotion? Oh and in your signboard for the promtion, it did not mention anything about customers have to ask in order to...
