Sushi Jiro IOI Mall Damansara — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Located in the Concourse level of Tropicana Gardens Mall, this Japanese conveyor belt restaurant, is one of the chain of restaurants for the brand.

The interior is comfortable with enough space to walk and seat. There are many tables for seating. A row of seats are facing the conveyor belt.

Service is bad, and unenthusiastic. The wait staff brought the food stacked on each other, which brings to question the cleanliness of the plates.

The sushis mostly missed the mark. The size of the sushis are too small compared to other similar sushi restaurants. It is actually half the size of other establishments. The presentation of the sushi is lackluster, and the rice too mushy.

The Saba Shioyaku Rice is quite good. The saba (mackerel) is well cooked and well seasoned. The accompanying Chawan Mushi of the set is a let down. Lacking ingredient and has an imbalanced flavour, with the under cooked and poor quality mushroom overpowering the overall taste.

This is a miss. Not value for money and...

1st time visit Sushi Jiro in IOI Damansara , but really disappointed! What I know is Sushi Jiro’s price will be more reasonable and yummy BUT it’s NOT !!!!!

Really couldn’t accept, person in charge please look into the issues that been brought out .

Very disappointed with the portion size. The sushi is extremely small and the side dishes are tiny — hardly enough to enjoy. On top of that, the price is not reasonable at all. It’s way too pricey for such small portions. Definitely not worth the money and very unsatisfying overall.

Problems : The portion of the sushi and side dish is MINI, not small. ( it supposedly REGULAR SIZE!!!)

Dumplings is not well cooked as in they sticked together upon serve.

Prices been increasing from RM1.98 till now RM3.98 !!!!!!!!

Most important part, prices increasing, at the same time size of the food also been minimised 🫡🙃🙃🙃🙃
