The male staff in fitting room was super rude. When I picked the inner shorts from the outside, I asked the staff outside if it can be tried, and she said yes, hence I proceed to the queue for the fitting room. When it was my turn, the male staff, who wore chocolate coloured shirt, shouted at me, saying ‘this cannot be tried’, as if it was my fault not knowing that. So I told him that it was a female staff outside who told me that I could try. He then asked ‘who?’ This indeed is a very funny question, did he expect customer knows all the staffs’ name? So I said ‘How would I know?’ This male staff then walked out of the fitting room without saying a word, standing outside and looked at me ‘instructing me to show/point to him which female staff it was’. So when we found the staff, he scolded her in front of me, and walked away. No single apology or eye-to-eye contact to me. That’s the worst worst service I ever encountered. NOT AT ALL MY...

Unpleasant experience with a Cashier lady today while queuing up to buy a Gift Card. As I was without any merchandise in hand, I certainly didn't look like a customer, or worse a troublemaker. There were two cashiers on duty, one busy serving a customer. The second one who saw me, turned around to busy herself at the back of the counter. When another customer arrived to queue up BEHIND me, she turned around and said to him, "I can help you Sir!" .... what am I? Invisible?
The next cashier who had to serve me looked on with trepidation when waving me over to her counter. I assure you, I am not a scary person, nor am I a client from hell.
I just wanted to buy a gift card.
Not wanting to service one's customers, even if they were to be assessed as "difficult", ought to be a...
Read moreBad shopping experience. The sales assistant shouted at my sister and me just as we were about to enter the fitting room, instead of addressing us politely or giving a proper explanation. It’s been a while since we last shopped in-store, and this kind of treatment really put us off from ever wanting to come back.
We completely understand that retail work can be exhausting and stressful but that doesn’t justify being rude to customers. If you can speak calmly and casually to your colleagues, then you can do the same for customers too.
Also, if there’s a rule that only one customer is allowed in the fitting room at a time, a clear and visible sign near the entrance would be helpful. We didn’t see any, which led to the misunderstanding in the first place.
Shopping is supposed to be a pleasant experience, not one that leaves people feeling scolded or...
