comes in 3 flavours (cheese rm7.90 /matcha rm8.90 /hazelnut rm8.90) ....all flavours excellent. pastry shell is so thin and delicate it was made to be able to just barely hold all the gooey goodness inside. still strong enuf not to crumble too much when biting into it.

matcha is my fave...what a beautiful deep olive green colour, smooth shiny puffy top, the slight tannic bitterness balanced by the sweetness of a few red beans (not overloaded thank goodness) sitting at the bottom of the greentea-cheese filling.

the hazelnut one looked as if it was gonna be too sweet but i was wrong. totally enjoyed the crunch and richness of the freely flowing chocolaty lava without being cloying.

the original flavour was classic. love how easily it melts in yr mouth. There's a hint acidic tang that kept each bite interesting.

with trays upon trays of cheesecake baking and coming out from the oven NONESTOP throughout the whole day, I'd expect quality and done-ness of the tarts to be inconsistent by night, with some more burnt than others... but to my surprise, that didn't happen, all of them baked perfectly, looking pretty much the same. and none of them with unsightly black burn marks.

The lady cashier on duty this afternoon needs to improve her customer service. First, she never asked me if I have any other order or if I am eating in, just key in the buns I put in the tray and told me the amount to pay. When I told her I have other orders and eating in, she told me to get to table first. I told her I already have someone at the table. I then enquired about the coffee n tart set and told her I think not worthed it. So I told her I just want 3 coffee and one tart. She keyed in 3 sets and the rest of my orders and just tell me the total amount to pay. When I got the receipt, I noticed she keyed in 3 sets so I told her I wanted 3 coffee and only one tart. She then told me it is cheaper than ordering 3 coffee and one tart separately as that RM15 one set included the SST. But when I checked through, the 3 sets were charged with service charge and SST too. 😠 The reason I am unhappy is she should have explained to me, and ONLY key in the order for 3 SETS IF I am agreeable. And should repeat my orders to ascertain it was correctly entered before confirming the amount and asked me to pay. Hope this area can be...

I guess I saw this outlet in Tokyo street, in Pavillion! Finally I gave a try with my family! We had 3 black coffee, one burnt cheese cake, and one checkered chocolate cake! Price reached rm 61. The coffee is pretty good! Wonder if I can get a take away cup when I feel like grabbing here. The checkered chocolate cake looks very unique, and funny seeing the checkered pattern all inside. But what matters to us is the taste of the cake,...sadly, the verdict is the texture is kinda dry side, not at all moist or chocolatey even! That said, my son couldn't finish it at the end, the dark glazing top is very artificial. Anyway the cake is not our expectations overall. The burnt cheese cake is very small, but tastes good, cheesy, just right sweet to my liking! The miruku stick came accidentally. So we had it returned back! So dunno how the stick tastes would like, looks interesting though. I might like to try coffee with cheese tart...
