Surprisingly good. Love the interior decor, very eclectic, enough soft furnishings so not noisy. Service is good.

The HK Murtabak we ordered unfortunately must have been burnt however despite that the filling of chicken was also tasteless and dry. The Murtabak casing/dough also was super thin and not doughy, or crispy, actually it was unsubstantial.

The lala soup was delightful. It was just what I was expecting and more. The soup was flavorful, lovely umami and had a hint of spicy ness which was perfect. There were bits of Goji Berry and the slices of fungus and ginger were refreshing, providing different textures. They were generous amounts of lala which was nice.

Mango kerabu did not disappoint. Taste was on point. Amount was reasonable enough for 3 people to share as a side dish.

The crazy chekodok otherwise also known as a jemput2 is banana fritters, served with vanilla ice cream. It was very pleasant, not oily, and mostly made of bananas rather than flour (nice!), the outside was crispy.

The place is infested with rats. Few times caught a glimpse of rats that were running on the counter kitchen (the back area of the restaurant). Told the waiter and he just said sorry. We continued eating. Then the worst nightmare happened, one of the rats ran towards the table next to us (nobody seated there thank goodness) and climbed on the sofa till it reached the side of the wall. It climbed up the wall and into a hole above the ceiling. Up till then, we stopped eating because we have lost our appetite. We came for the good food but unfortunately hygiene is no where near. We told the waitress what had happened, she doubted us and good thing we had eye witnesses around and they confirmed what we saw. Paid for a premium price but not worth the comfort if they don't do anything with this rat problem!!! Not going back EVER. 2 stars for the food, otherwise...
