One of the worst services I've ever received by this fast food chain. I've been a regular customer at the Port Louis Branch and they have never disappointed. The Grand Bay branch has to be hands down the worst one yet. I called in to order dinner yesterday. The person who took the order was very friendly and polite on the call. He took my order and confirmed that it would take 20mins to be ready. After 20mins, I drove to the restaurant to collect the food. I was surprised to walk inside a restaurant with the most disorganised queue. There were no queues to pay, to hand out receipt or to collect food. The restaurant was a mess of people pushing around to have their receipt taken first, almost like the Champ de Mars gambling area. After 10mins of wait to pay for my order, no one had a clue of what I had ordered on the phone. No records, no tracks and 0 communications between staffs. I had to order AGAIN while having wasted time on the phone before heading to the restaurant. Here comes the worst part, my payment was made at 20:01 and I only received my food at 20:37. The staff working at the front desk handling tickets and packing the food where absolute nonsense. We paying customers had to tell them what we ordered and what plastic was ours. A lady from Madagascar helping a customer spent almost 30mins with a single order. All paying customers were pushing and grouped up on each other for their ticket to be taken. The "supposedly" person in charge of the restaurant had no clue what he was doing, walking back and forth, asking a client his order 3-4 times and still getting it wrong when packing. It's almost like your ticket and time has no importance. Why give a ticket and take order if we have to stand behind the counter and shout our order and help the staff to pack the food.
Overall the service was horrendous, absolute garbage and even worse, the food was terrible. The bread was dry, the chips/fries tasted of cold oil, there was hardly any sauce on any of the orders. That was a wasted 850rs worth of food but an experience to share. Went there, placed my order for dine in. Waited for 25 mins, no sign of food. Went to the counter to enquire, guy with tattoo replying rudely "to trop presser, pas kapv atan, zot tou p atan to pas kapv atan toi... To croire mo p assize ici!!!" Took the receipt, after 15 mins, bring the food as take out. Told him it was for dine in... Again tattoo guy, "to pas kapv dire, to croire mo conner moi!!!"
