The atmosphere in these markets is lively and energetic. Vendors are friendly and eager to share the stories behind their products. Bargaining is common practice, so don’t be shy about negotiating for a good deal. Engaging with the local vendors can add a personal touch to your shopping experience.
While the markets offer a wide variety of items, it’s important to exercise some caution when making purchases. Ensure the authenticity of any high-value or antique items, as counterfeits can occasionally be found.

Whether you’re looking for gifts for loved ones or a reminder of your trip, these markets have something...
Read moreI visited here in 2019 and absolutely loved it. I could not wait to get back in 2022. I know because I am fluent in Spanish and overhear. More often than not there are no posted price tags. It’s almost expected that there will be haggling, but I just find the whole thing embarrassing. This colors my experience so I’m not likely to buy anything. Don’t let me stop you, though, because it is a...
