We just discovered this great neighborhood cafe. Stopped in for a coffee first. They have excellent coffee and espresso drinks. I ordered a mocha to drink in, and was served the most beautifully presented drink in a clear glass mug. The espresso with chocolate was layered with the steamed milk and topped with foam. I almost hated to have to stir it up, but it tasted so good. Then we returned the next day for lunch. We both ordered the hamburger with cheese and bacon. I have to say, that was the best hambuger we have ever eaten in Puerto Vallarta. We don't often order hamburgers here when we dine out, what with all the wonderful food selections to choose from, but once in a while you just have a craving for a good hamburger. You won't be disappointed here. The burgers are big and juicy (even mine that I ordered medium well done), come with lettuce, a thick slice of tomato and red onion, and delicious wedge fries. We were stuffed once we finished. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, has a full bar with drink specials, a walk-in cigar humador if you like that, and sells bags of whole bean and ground locally grown coffee (that they serve in the cafe) and chocolate products. The prices are reasonable. There is indoor and outdoor seating (the indoor area is air-conditioned when appropriate). Cigar and cigarette smoking are permitted only in the outdoor...

Read moreMade a special trip from Nuevo Vallarta to visit this place, as it was recommended online.
Went to look at cigars and coffee, but also ended up buying something sweet to eat and a Turkish Coffee to drink first. Bought one sample cigar and walked around the town to see if that was the one I wanted to bring a box of back home.
After walking around town for almost an hour, came back, and a truck just happened to pull up outside, and someone asked "Hey, what are you smoking?" I ended up talking to the driver about it, and it turned out it was actually the owner, Oliver! He was absolutely fantastic to talk to, and had great advice for me.
When I went back in, both his sister and his son ended up helping me out, and both were as nice and helpful as could be. This is clearly a family business, and they care very much about customer service. If we're back in the area, I'll make another special trip to take my wife there if nothing else just to go say hello.
