I enjoyed our experience so much I had to write a TripAdvisor review AND a google review! My boyfriend and I booked with Alma's tours for our airport shuttle and 2 tours during our trip to Tulum and they did not disappoint! For starters, our round trip airport shuttle was very comfortable and safe. Miguel who was our driver (also is the owner of the company) is probably the nicest person you will every meet. This is a family run business and it shows in their interactions with the tourists. You're not going to just meet some person who talks to you for a couple hours. They are really interested in getting to know everyone and make the experience amazing for each person. They are able to do this because the groups are smaller than the mainstream tour companies who can have up to 30-45 people in a group (you will see them on the big buses). To me, you won't get a great experience with a large group like that. The tours itself were great! The tour guides are very knowledge about the mayan culture and the ruins they take you to. Our tour guide for Chichen Itza was Miguel Jr and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. We also visited the Coba ruins with our guide Abraham and again he did not disappoint! The lunch that is provided is super tasty as well! I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our trip because of them. Booking with them was easy and communication was great. They send you email reminders the day before each tour or airport transportation. They are also very easy to get in touch with. If you are in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum or anywhere in that area definitely book with them! YOU...
Read moreWe spent a week in Mexico at an all inclusive resort. However, we wanted to see the Mayan ruins so we took a day and went with Alma LDS Tours to several locations. Coriantumr was an incredible guide. They picked us up at our resort, which was really nice. The van we were in offered plenty of room, air conditioning and they even brought cold drinks along for all of us. Coriantumr was so knowledgable. He spoke great english. I loved that at each of the stops he not only could go into great depth on the history of that area but also possible connections to Book of Mormon times. Lunch was amazing. It was a buffet with authentic Mexican food. If you're debating on getting a guide, it was so worth it. We had the chance to go to several ancient sites, have a wonderful lunch and even take a swim in a cenote. Thanks Alma's Tours and thanks Coriantumr and our driver who was awesome, I just forgot...
Read moreChoose any other tour company but this one! Horrible service! I booked with them for airport transportation and an excursion transportation and both times they were over an hour late! Completely unprofessional and when I called to explain my frustration they told me there is nothing they can do. Choose any one else!
EDITED: I just want to make it clear that I have been to Cancun multiple times and have used this tour company before with no problems, the airport was NOT the problem. When I couldn’t find the driver originally at the airport I called and the person I talked with said “ oh I am so sorry, they are just now leaving and will be there soon” over an hour later we were finally picked up. This exact situation happened again for our excursion pickup! There response to this comment is complete lies!! Please save yourself the headache and find...
