Five Stars for Trippy Divers and Instructors Vito and Fran

I recently had the pleasure of diving in Cozumel, Mexico with Trippy Divers, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. My instructors, Vito and Fran, were absolutely amazing. They were knowledgeable, professional, and patient, and they made sure that I had a safe and enjoyable time on every dive.

I did 12 dives with Vito and Fran, including two cenote dives, two night dives, one shipwreck dive, one deep dive, and six coral reef dives. Each dive was unique and unforgettable, and I saw a wide variety of marine life, including turtles, sharks, rays, and countless species of fish.

Vito and Fran were incredibly attentive to detail both on and off the boat. They made sure that my dive gear was properly fitted and that I was comfortable with all of the procedures before entering the water. During the dives, they were always close by, monitoring my depth and air consumption. They also pointed out interesting marine life and helped me to take some great photos.

In addition to being excellent instructors, Vito and Fran are also just great people. They are friendly, outgoing, and passionate about diving. They made sure that I felt welcome and comfortable at all times, and they went above and beyond to make my experience as enjoyable as possible.

Overall, my experience with Trippy Divers and instructors Vito and Fran was the best one that I have had ever. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and unforgettable diving experience in Cozumel, Mexico.

On my last day of diving, Vito and Fran took me to a special dive site that they knew I would love. It was a beautiful coral reef with a wide variety of marine life. I am so grateful to Vito and Fran for making my diving experience in Cozumel so special. I cannot wait to dive with them again soon and progress with my SSI specializations.

I decided to get my Open Water Diver certification earlier this summer. I started the first part (academic and pool sessions) back home in Boston but decided to complete it in warmer waters in Mexico for my final 4 checkout dives. This is where I researched and found Trippy Divers. From the very first contact with this SSI dive shop’s owner Vito, the vibe and the information provided were clear, welcoming, and professional. Once there, I discovered that in addition to his personal and professional approach to diving, Vito took extra care in his training. Dive plans were explained in a way that I felt not only confident about all of them but I also trusted him the whole time through. I got my OWD certification completed in a couple of days and felt happy about it.

With a couple more days in Puerto Morelos, I decided to take the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification which provided me with 5 “sample” or “taste” of dive specialities. I took Perfect Buoyancy, Navigation, Night, Deep dive, and Wreck and it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve done to maximize my vacation.

I am grateful for Vito and the time he took to make me feel confident in diving and for the opportunity to discover a new hobby that connects me more closely to nature.

I got my open water certification from Trippy Divers and boy did I have a time of my life!!!

I ended up going from knowing nothing about Scuba diving to doing 12 dives with Vito and Fran (the instructors). The dives included night dives, reef dives and a ship wreck dive. It blew our minds, Vito and Fran chose the best locations too for us to dive at. Any diving school will take you diving, but only a few will make it feel especial and that is what Vito and Fran offer.

With Trippy Divers, you will be in good hands for sure. I was having issues with my mask flooding and to my surprise he was already carrying an extra one for me. A friend of mine had trouble equalizing but Vito and Fran made sure that at least one of the instructor was with my friend so he would not be rushed.

All the dives consisted of us 3 and 2 instructors. It felt so private and special and that is something they specialize in.

I can confirm that I had the best time of my life but more than that I found two great friends. Vito and Fran will care about you. It is a business but we felt nothing like it. We found two brothers in Cozumel. It is the best out there, trust me. I have made such a special connection with Vito and Fran that I plan on taking my family there too.
