70 Pesos Well Spent: A Pork Quesadilla Review
Stopped by this spot to grab a pork quesadilla because, well, I like pork and I like quesadillas—seemed like a solid plan. The place has a nice atmosphere, and they even have a convenient street window for grab-and-go, in case you need to make a quick getaway with your cheese-filled prize.
Now, let’s talk food. Was this pork quesadilla a life-changing, transcendental experience that made me question everything I thought I knew about Mexican cuisine? No. But for 70 pesos, I wasn’t expecting the culinary reincarnation of my abuelita, either.
What I got was a solid, generously-sized quesadilla that filled me up without emptying my wallet. It wasn’t a Michelin-star meal, but it also wasn’t one of those tiny, sad tacos that leave you rethinking your life choices.

I had the chalupa with bistec a la Mexicana—a generous portion layered on a freshly made tortilla, bursting with bold, well-seasoned flavors. One was more than enough, both in size and satisfaction. I also tried the house-made horchata, which stood out not only for its balanced sweetness and creamy texture but also for its thoughtful preparation using filtered water and ice.
The menu is impressively diverse, offering a wide range of protein options at very reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be returning to explore the...
