I've probably been by this place a couple hundred times and never knew it was here. This place is known for their pimitos, also called sopes. My fiance ordered the pimitos mixtos and said they were fantastic. They were a good size and had a large portion of seafood on top. I ordered the garlic triggerfish. It was pan-fried and served with a side of refried black beans, rice, a small salad and corn tortillas. Despite the beans and rice being cold, the fish was excellent. If you're looking to get away from the heat, there is a small swimming pool available for a dip in the back. They also have a decent bar selection with beer as well as...

We went to this restaurant multiple times. Their cocktails are really delicious. They have a delicious, strong and zesty seafood brine for the cocktails that makes them so tasty. Added a little bit of salsa for extra kick. If you have a passion for garlic the garlic ceviche is a must. It was shockingly delicious and so garlicky. A bit intense so we thought the small was plenty. Had the triggerfish filet but I think I prefer red snappers. Triggerfish reminded me of a better tasting version of mahi mahi and I don't like mahi mahi. Regular ceviche was good. Sparkling lemonade...

My family visited for Pimitos at 2:45pm … and we became violently sick hours later. Either the Pescado or the Ceviche Mixto had gone bad. I threw up 6 times and had diarrhea another 8 times so far. Now, at 1am, my 11 year old son has covered our bathroom in vomit. For me, having a friend bring Teda from the farmacia has started to help. My son and I are now both severely dehydrated as any water we drink goes straight through us in 10 minutes or less.

These Pimitos tasted great at the time, but we can NEVER eat here again after...

A good place for local food. Away from the city centre but good walking distance. 5 blocks. It was suggested by a friend of mine who lives in Cozumel. Runned by a family. I ordered the fried fish and liked it. But they have a lot of local specialities. Not expensive. I paid 15 dollars for the fried fish and a coke. They don't accept credit cards. I went for lunch on a Wednesday and I was the only person there. The staff is friendly.
