Was it a great scene? Yes. Yes it was.
To get to here, you have to go up the ‘Ladder’ hike, rather than the official paid (€15) entrance. It was 2.3km from the bottom of the ladder to this viewpoint and it took us 40 minutes- but give it an hour to be safe so you can take loads of photos on the way up! Especially if you spot the mountain goats!
You can continue further up from this point, but we chose not to as it was a very hot climb! There are two cafes on the way up, one is labelled on google as a ‘cheese shop’. Not sure if it sold cheese but it definitely sold beer.

The road goes up to the mountain, and as you are walking more, the level of difficulty is increasing a little, but worth it because you will have a view from there.
