Probably one of Barcelona’s best viewpoints to see the entire city in a very majestic way. Greta ambiance with some very pleasant live music performed at the base of the palace and audible all the way to the terrace.

For only 2 euro you can access the basic expo and the terraces, but if you wanna see some of the great art the museum is known for, then I recommend going for the full 12 euro ticket so you can see everything.

Tickets can be purchased in person or online, and they can be paid for in person with cash or card.

Inside there are very clean restrooms and a decent restaurant, as well as a gift shop.

The staff is very friendly and able to help you in English, Catalan and Spanish.

You will find cafés and restaurants all around the area, with some great Tapas bars in the vicinity for a quick snack and refreshment along your journey.

Easy to get to from the nearby metro and bus stations. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there are some paid areas with...

We were there at Jun.03/2023 at 21:30h. The place is nice, like always. But the water fountain Font Magica is temporarily closed to support the measures of Barcelona to save water. I totally understand and support this. Welcome to the age of climate change.

But, also here you'll find the phenomenon that I see in a lot of bigger cities in southern Europe. People who try to sell you those illuminated flying toys, Sangria, Mojito, whatever in an annoying way. This development makes me sad. I would like to enjoy the beautiful places in Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Rome like it was possible in the past. Without being asked twenty times if I want to buy a toy or a mojito. One cannot escape or avoid those people.

It's not the same like 15 years ago. I wonder how it will be 15 years...

Inexpensive, rich in history, and very interesting exhibits. The museum is exactly as expansive as it looks with sweeping view of the city from the roof as well. Even the cafe inside was moderately priced and delicious. This is a must see for any tourist on a budget. Also to note, your ticket is good for 2 days in the month so if you want to return another day to finish touring the museum you can do so.

One of my favorite exhibits was the one where they showed how they removed art from the walls of old Roman era churches for preservation and recreated them in the museum using painstaking techniques first used in the early 1920’s. Great collection of ancient and modern art!

It is also pretty close to the port of Barcelona so you can easily check that area out...

Really fantastic place we went to on a while since it's free admission after 3pm on Saturdays. The collection of Romanesque art is absolutely stunning and the way they preserved and removed the frescos is incredible. The gallery is also set up to house the frescos in their original 3D environments making you feel as if they were able to actually transport you to the church. The other gallery features medieval gothic art that also forms a formidable collection. Certainly, I strongly recommend coming by as the art is breathtaking and the view from the roof of the palace and it's front steps overlooking Barcelona is simply incredible.
