Restaurant paloma (HAMAMA) — Restaurant in Chefchaouen

Scandalous to serve "food" like this, if you can even call that food. So long waiting to get served super bitter olives??? I almost had to spit it out, i do not know if that was normal but soit. My Virgin Mojito was just super acidic, can't call that a cocktail.

Then, 1h later, a tasteless plate of fish, with tasteless shrimps that just got boiled in unsalted water, from far the biggest flop of my travel. Was supposed to come with an assortment of sauce? Didn't get anything else than some lemon piece.

After 5 more minutes came my plate with terrible spaghetti bolognaise... And then 10min later, the fries that we ordered to go with the fish.... What a terrible experience, the drinks were also served warm, my cocktail was in a sticky glass even. Wtf is wrong with this kitchen, the server was nice but the cook was just constantly yelling in the kitchen! Prob complaining, we had to ask a few times for our fries and then I heard he finally put it on. Just wow, and so, terrible fish mix + baby portion fries + spaghetti bolo + mojito virgin + a cola = 270 dirhams ? BIG LOL. This restaurant is a joke.

Do not believe the positives reviews on this, they aren't true. Go there only if you order only drinks and/or...

If I could give zero stars, I would. This restaurant was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First, they made us wait two full hours for our food — not a slight delay, but literally two hours of sitting around with no updates, while the staff acted like that was totally normal.

When the food finally came, one plate was missing entirely. No apology, no explanation — just indifference. The plates that did arrive were dirty, and the entire place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.

And the food? I wouldn’t feed it to a stray dog. Some dishes were so overcooked they were completely inedible — dry, burnt, and honestly disgusting. It was the worst meal I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten street food in over a dozen countries.

To top it all off: no apology, no discount, and we were even shorted 5 dirhams. When we brought it up, the staff was shockingly rude about it.

Avoid this place at all costs. There are far better options in Chefchaouen — this one should...

We sat outside, so i didn't see the interior, outside was ok, but the old ladys just came to us all the time to ask for many. We waited for 15 minutes to get the menus, after they came to ask what we want, i asked to get one. The prices not good but not that bad either. A chicken pannini 50 MAD, Mixed Grill (with 5 meat) is 90, drink were 15. The problem were the food note even tasty. It was poorly prepared and chunky. The place is dirty and we had to clean our hand after we touched the menus. Adter this they wanted me to give tip, because they just leave me there and wanted me to leave the money there. The problem, i had only 200 or 100, so i had to go in to pay. No tip for this...
