Beautiful location with stunnishing view! They have everything to be a great chill out cinema with restaurant combination of Pokhara. I wanted to spend there a few hours to watch 2 movies, but unfortunately as Hospitality professinal i decided when i was there that i don't... I just was busy to order a cup of tea and also told that after the tea and popcorn with my tee i will be ready for a pizza and a bottle of wine.. The prices are not high but very higher than the average... So i was willing to spend there 4000 rupies, which here in Nepal a quiet lot in a restaurant... And when i ordered the friendly nepali waiter asked me, can he make one receit inclusive my ticket? I asked, what ticket? And he told me the 350 rupies for the film... I asked him, is it not free? I thought this is the attraction, the movie which is played in the restaurant, which make clients - me, too - to come here despite of other places with movies... but no he said it's a ticket for the movie, too. So i am sorry , i stood up and said i just wanted to leave here an average high amount, i thought at least i can watch the movie for free... and btw the restaurant at this day was empty... low season, i was the only client... So , its not a bad review, i just want to give an advice as Hspotality professional, trainer and coach in West Europe, that the owners could change their strategy and don't do this next time. Of course if a client come and sit only for the movie and drinks 1 cup of tea in 2 hours, then is fair, but when the order is significant high like mine was, then you should be smarter with this... See this as a positive advice despite...
Read moreThis is such a pleasant outdoor movie theater. I treated myself to a movie and had a yummy white russian, tickets are cheap and they really have it dialed. Sound and movie quality are great! Ambiance with candlelight and seating, extra blankets and cushions are plus for the experience. The movie selection is very impressive! Good thoughtful movies and some that relate to Nepal which is great because many are excited for trekking and to understand the culture. I also appreciate the details like placing QR code on the screen before movie showing for free wifi or opportunity to win IG prize or free popcorn, showing trailer for the next night's movie, and printing out a schedule for the week's showings as well. All these details make it worth going to at least once but I'm already planning to gk for a 3rd time. They even will serve food to you during the movie through their whatsapp system! Go see a movie at the...

We arrived just a few minutes before the movie began, so it was a little difficult to find seating. We ended up with not so comfortable seats, but that was entirely our fault. So come early!!
The price for the ticket to watch the movie was okay. But coupled with the prices of the food, we decided not to order any food except for the popcorn and a single soda.
The presentation of the film was great. Speakers were loud enough to drown out the sound of the screaming from the nearby "Disneyland" and live music from bars nearby. We did watch a high octane action movie then though, so perhaps a quieter drama would not have been pleasant to watch. But we can't say for sure.
Overall, Movie Garden was a fun experience with great staff, delicious salty popcorn, and an incredible movie selection. Highly recommend as a...
