Really, I could not be more honest in this post, this place is heaven on earth.
We were walking around Pokhara and on our way back to the hotel, we were planning on stopping on the same restaurant we had being going for the first days of our stay. However, we passed by Rebecca’s restaurant and there was something in me that called me to stop. The place was small, a couple of tables were having tea, and there was something in the atmosphere that persuaded me to sit down.
As we sat, tea was served to us, while we checked the menu. Don’t expect a crazy long menu with many dishes that, at the end of it, you barely remember the beginning. This menu is short and spot on. We ordered Dal Bhat and fried chicken momos. It was amazing to see how everything was freshly prepared with minutely care. Then cooked and served.
Bfff that Dal, pickles, potatoes, spinach were tasty, very tasty. And you were served more if you wanted to. Thought nothing could get better until I tried their fried momos. Oh my, a true blessing! How perfectly they were fried on the outside layer but kept tender on the inside, and the filling, tasteful! Loved it so much that every time we went there, I would order one portion!
Once we tried this restaurant, we kept going here because the staff is so welcoming, the food is fresh and so carefully prepared, and while waiting you are offered an awesome tea, and all this for a very very cheap price.
Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your home and food! If we are ever back in Pokhara, I really know where my first destination will be. I’m still dreaming of those...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at this charming Nepali restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with traditional Nepali decor that set the mood perfectly.
The food was absolutely delicious! I tried the dal bhat, which was fresh, flavorful, and served with a variety of side dishes that truly showcased the diversity of Nepali cuisine. The momos were another highlight—steamed to perfection with a tangy dipping sauce.
The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.
If you're looking for an authentic taste of Nepal, I highly recommend this place. It’s a must-visit for anyone...
Read moreI've been going here every day for the last 3 weeks with my partner. Had masala omelette and black masala tea on my first visit. It was so good we've been back every day for 3 weeks. The black masala tea is the best I've ever tasted!!! And the masala omelette is so tasty - perfectly seasoned. To top it off, Rebecca has the most beautiful and calm and happy spirit ❤️. Kind-hearted, warm, and generous. We continue to visit daily and will be there Christmas Day 🎄. Woof, woof -...
