Sweet Dreams Guest House — Hotel in Pokhara

It is my second time at Sweet Dreams (first time in 2016) and I just came back to relax in the hammocks after a 30days trek in the Himalayas. The Guesthouse has different rooms varying in price. I stayed in a double room with bathroom included: nice basic clean room. Make sure to ask about the different room prices as they can vary depenting on which floor you are staying on.||Warm water alwasy worked it just needs a few minutes to change temperature. Wifi did not always work due to weather conditions or disturbance of the network but that was the case all over Pokhara. Once the wifi worked it was a strong connection.||The Guesthouse is found a small climb up to the right of the main street walking from the closeby city center which makes it a quiet place to stay in but close enough to the real action. There is a terrace overlooking the lake where you can enjoy a cup of tea or a simple nepali breakfast.||I always come back to this place when trekking in the Annapurna region as the owners are just the best people, very friendly and welcoming, and I enjoy calm atmosphere. I stayed in Sweet Dreams for 1.5 months because

1. Location: It is situated on the north side of Lakeside where more backpackers and international tourists stay at. It has lots of cafe and the club Catwalk few minutes walk away. It is situated around 50m away from the main road on a hill; that means less sound from the road and great view of the lake.

2. Property: Clean, basic rooms with attached bathroom. All rooms have bedding for atleast 3 people and windows facing the lake. Hot water is available 24x7. The road to the property and the garden inside has lots of beautiful flowering plants all around.

3. Service: Raj is a great host who understands the customer needs and goes out of his way many a times, to fulfill them. He can give you tips about the places around and in general about Nepal.

We spent a week in sweet dreams guest house, room was clean with comfy bed. You get an amazing view of the lake everyday which is a big plus.||It's very peaceful during the day but at night the music from the bars bellow travels up so it can get a bit noisy till about 11pm.||||I've read all the previous reviews about how friendly the owner is, but unfortunately that wasn't the case when we were there.
