Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the iconic Pathé Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam, and I was instantly transported to a bygone era of grandeur and cinematic charm. As a movie enthusiast, I was particularly excited to watch "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three" in this legendary venue. From the bustling atmosphere to the impeccable service and captivating decor, Pathé Tuschinski proved to be an unforgettable cinematic experience unlike any other.

A Cinematic Wonderland: Arriving on a weekday evening, the theatre was abuzz with excitement. Despite the bustling crowd, the attentive and plentiful staff ensured that we were swiftly guided through the ticketing process and assisted with any queries we had. Their friendly and professional demeanor enhanced the overall experience, making us feel welcome and well taken care of.

Indulging in Treats: One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to indulge in a delightful assortment of snacks. We couldn't resist purchasing bottled Coca-Cola, freshly popped popcorn, and an array of candies. The convenience of being able to enjoy these classic movie treats truly added to the immersive cinematic experience. The concessions were well-stocked, and the staff efficiently served the delicious treats, further enhancing our enjoyment of the evening.

A Journey Back in Time: The moment we stepped into the grand foyer of Pathé Tuschinski, we were immediately captivated by its unique and breathtaking decor. Designed in the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles, the theater showcases a stunning blend of vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and ornate details. Every corner exudes elegance and a sense of opulence, reminiscent of the roaring 1920s. From the grand chandeliers to the plush velvet seats, the attention to detail in preserving the theater's historical charm is truly commendable.

A Hidden Gem of Amsterdam: Pathé Tuschinski is undoubtedly the most unique theater in all of Amsterdam. It stands as a testament to the city's rich architectural heritage and its commitment to preserving cultural landmarks. Stepping foot inside this cinema is like entering a time capsule, allowing you to experience the golden age of cinema while enjoying the latest blockbuster films. The theater's distinct charm and atmosphere make it an absolute must-see for anyone visiting Amsterdam, whether they are film enthusiasts or admirers of architectural wonders.

Conclusion: Pathé Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam is a true cinematic gem. Our visit on a weekday evening to watch "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three" was a captivating experience, made all the more special by the theater's bustling yet attentive staff. Indulging in bottled Coke, popcorn, and candies added to the authenticity of the movie-going tradition. The unique decor, reminiscent of the 1920s, made us feel like we were stepping back in time. I wholeheartedly recommend Pathé Tuschinski as a destination for anyone visiting Amsterdam, as it offers a one-of-a-kind experience that blends cinema, history, and architectural beauty seamlessly. Prepare to be enchanted and immerse yourself in the magic of the silver screen at Pathé...

Such a classy place. I still believe the leners ruinen with the stickers instead of paint in the Walls and plafond.

In the European Premiére “ Impure - Film by Rico Herre” make one of the must clear, polished, powerful and symbolic film about menstruation, a universal truth.

The film is called IMPURE located in Kenya based on a true story of a Kenyan girl that recieved strong rejection and cruelty in terms of “MENARCA” from her society(I will not tell the rest because you must be open to watch this masterpiece); today is the Official PREMIERE in Europe and is only to expect to expand and reach all continents in already 6 different languages available for all audiencies, received two moments of applause of 2 minutes each, this masterpiece motivates us to take action in terms of feminine health, menstrual health and to make it loud.

💡A German Male Director Rico Herre that respectfully and bravely stands up for the Female Struggles and Cosmogonia beyond cultures and time a great example to follow; a man that bleeds with us. I’m sure that with the leadership of Charlotte Petty and Odette (Salden) Hekster this ship will have a powerful and historical impact Join for Joy and Stichting PSI Europe

🩸For my personal experience my artistic research with menstruation [RED ASTRAL] I don’t look to only overcome the stigma but to honor the menstrual blood, heal feminine trauma and to remember the conexion with natural and ethereal feminine astral realm this film was really nurturing for me whilst helped me to remember common experiences we all females have.

At the end of the venue I recieved the book “Mooi rood is niet lelijk” by Paula Kragten Journalist and founder of @period!

Great masterpiece!

You must watch this film and make it through in the film houses of the world.

Pathé Tuschinski in Amsterdam is a cinema that takes movie-watching to a whole new level of awesomeness! Prepare to have your socks knocked off (hopefully not literally) by this majestic theater that combines old-school charm with modern comforts and a boozy twist! First things first, the moment you step inside Pathé Tuschinski, you'll feel like you've entered a time machine. The place is dripping with elegance and glamour, like a Hollywood starlet on Oscar night. Fancy chandeliers, fancy stairs, fancy everything! It's like watching a movie in a palace! And speaking of comfort, forget about those boring old seats. At Pathé Tuschinski, you'll find yourself sinking into cozy couches fit for royalty. It's like watching a film in your own personal living room, but way fancier. Get ready to lounge like a boss! But wait, there's more! You know what goes great with movies? Booze! That's right, at Pathé Tuschinski, you can sip on a tasty beer while enjoying your favorite flick. Cheers to that! It's like having a mini bar in a cinema. Who says you can't have your drink and watch it too? So, whether you're a film fanatic or just looking for a good time, Pathé Tuschinski is the place to be. Get ready for a cinematic adventure surrounded by grandeur, comfortable couches, and the option to enjoy a beer while you're at it. It's a movie experience that will leave you feeling like a fancy-pants superstar! Lights, camera, couches, and booze! Pathé Tuschinski is where the magic happens. Don't miss out on this epic cinema extravaganza!
