My mom and I have been visiting Aruba for over 30 years, and for one morning every trip, we take a stroll through the Renaissance Marketplace as we tour downtown Oranjestad.
Earlier this week (November 15th, 2021), we did our annual walk-through of this shopping center adjacent to the two Renaissance Hotel properties, the marina and the casino.
The property is right on the water and includes a Starbucks, a Subway, shopping outlets, a movie theater, an outdoor bar and a few sit-down restaurants, including The Dutch Pancakehouse, whose famous Dutch pancakes keep lines queued out the door at all times.
Renaissance Marketplace's Christmas decorations are already up in Aruba this year, so if you are looking to get into the holiday spirit and happen to be in downtown Oranjestad, Aruba (as a fly-in our cruise visitor), definitely...

This mall has a Starbucks, some restaurants, some stores selling souvenirs and clothing, a 5oclock Somewhere Bar, and a movie theater. I walked through the mall and was impressed by how clean and well maintained this was. The bathrooms here are large, spacious, and clean. I walked to the Renaissance Marina Hotel multiple times & went through the Marketplace & got to know it very well during that time.
