6/11/2024 - Me and my friend paid for front row seats (D) and paid $226.00 x2 for a good view to see Lauren Diagle. 30min into her show people started standing up to dance within their seats which wasn't a problem but then people from the back who only paid $99.00 for their seats started to move towards the front blocking everyone who was seated behind us. We complained to the first guard and nothing happend. I had to physically leave my seat and get out of the building missing 1 song to complain to staff in the back where we were met with guards who told us that they couldn't do anything about the situation. Absolutely lovely people who tried their best but according to them Lauren Diagles team told them they weren't allowed to remove them or tell them off leaving those who paid extra for the view without a view. Sadly this ruined the experience for me and my friend as this was her birthday present and feel as if we got stripped of the privileges of having paid the extra money for the good view. Luckily someone actually from the audience told the people of and told them to move to their seats. This is highly unprofessional and I think the situation could of been handled much better... one couple actually ended up leaving because of the incident and a mother with two younger kids who were right at the front ended up crying because they couldn't see her. Also the ladies behind us paid $750.00 for their tickets and because she is older she couldn't stand and therefore not see anythings. It's ridiculous to charge people that amount of money with absolutely no guarantee that people who paid 3x less can just walk to the front and stand in the way without any security doing anything. I am a strong believer in fairness and I think for anyone filling out a complained regarding too this issue should be partially re-embursted for their inconvenience and hopefully in the future better guidelines and security managing the place for those who pay extra to have a better view or charge everyone the same and allow people to move around to the front, but this wasn't fair on those who put aside the extra amount for...
Read moreGreat accoustics and concert Friday 27th February. Arrived early. Bottled drinks (RTDs) only. Nowhere to sit and enjoy drink. Lined up early for concert entry. A very long line already as only one person scanning the tickets. Distinct lack of Ushers once the concert had started so people fumbling with phone torches trying to find their seats. Dreadful service and must have been a distraction for choir on-stage. No-one monitoring people in the front downstairs row C, left, continually filming on phones held high, annoying all those behind them, not to mention Marlon and his band. One security guy just sat up front left side by stage and did nothing. Considering I volunteer as an usher at the court theatre where our rules are strict and everyone is professional and proficient, I can't understand why these paid Ushers were performing poorly or just no extra Ushers were employed for a full house! For such a magnificent building, the staff and outside seating are...
Read moreWent to see Dara O'Briain last night. the show was awesome, as expected. Too bad it happened here and not at horncastle arena. the seating is absolutely rubish. Who approved to have seats, crammed and so small that you can't turn your body, oriented 30 degrees from the stage. I can only turn my head, very uncomfortableMy heart was hurting and after the break i moved to an empty seat on the floor level weher you had very poor sight line but at least i rested my neck. Chairs- small, lots of people having dificulties seating. they were selling alcohol, was quite warm inside, everybody was drinking. At break, the line for the women toilets was twice the length of the bar lines. the seating numbering was very confusing, very few people managed by themselves. so overall ... if after a show like this you leave talking about the seating, that's not good. You have to do something, not chairs for elves, but...
