Mt. Cambria Reserve — Attraction in Devonport-Takapuna

A wonderful place for free dog play and exercise. The majority of it is fenced in and the park is substantial so my dogs have never felt the need to wander off. Plenty of shady places under trees or in the gazebos on hot sunny days, a dispenser for doggy doo bags at the entry. So pleased and surprised to discover this park, having visited Devonport regularly all my life this was the first time I'd been to Cambria Reserve and it's lovely. A small park (great for a short walk or some informal recreation) there's plenty of open space, but also plenty of tree cover and some interesting plants.
