Maygrove Lake is hiding behind Orewa. It's a beautiful setting. Peaceful, somewhere to just sit and take in everything you can see. Or walk around the lake, or cheat and cross the little bridge halfway down. Ducks, eels, and tall birds I didn't know. No fishing, or harming of birds trees etc.. One of my favourite places. Careful cycling, walking. But beware! No toilets....
