Continental Fish Supply — Attraction in Napier

Continental has 5 workers who can't remember my face and order.

That didn't ask me that you have to put your ticket in a box nowhere near the cashregister. So My meal was left idle because of that issue.

●There $8 cheese burgers were the worst in hawkes bay. Tasted a tad bit better than homemade burgers if you suck at cooking. ●The chips were 2/5. Could taste hotdog and fish batter in my chips. the potatoes felt rubbery like it wasn't cooked long enough. ●chicken wings were better than last feather batch I received from previous owners. 4/5 ●to small and unprofessional. There was 10 people sitting down with 6 cooked meals sitting on the counter in open cold air with lack of communication most likely because of that ticket box. ●average manners from workers. ●sauce and drinks are always a ripoff here compared to the dairy thats...

I have been coming here on and off for years now as they made a lot of homemade items such as their potato fritters and fish cakes as well as doing their own chips. It seems they have succumbed to just using the commercial stuff the other shops use now. I was disappointed to bite into the potato fritter today and it was simply a battered potato slab rather than the battered mash potato and onion they used to sell and the commercial Mr chips chips. Come up from Dunedin to look around Napier, and this fish and chip shop was just around the corner. Looked nice and clean on arrival and young lady behind the counter was friendly. Everyone on the team all knew what their task was, and wow wow, wow, WOW. The food was UNBELIEVABLE. We had 3 separate orders between my family, and every single one of us said 'best fish and chips in New Zealand'. Cannot complain at all.
