This is a super popular spot, right on the edge of the shops, just adjacent to the marina area where the various jet boats etc are tied up. Lots of shade is provided by the willow trees. The beach is made up of small, smooth stones, and is comfortable to sit down on and take in the views, and people watch. The is a cafe at the end of the beach, which has a large children’s playing area, so is very popular with young families. Be mindful of the number of cyclists, runners, walkers and tourists on the shared pathway, especially if you have young children in tow, as it would be easy to see accidents occurring with so many people in...

Queenstown is an incredibly picturesque town with a wide range of attractions. The stunning lake invites people to enjoy swimming and relaxation. The town boasts numerous restaurants, including my personal favorites, Patagonia Chocolates for their delectable ice cream and Fogo for delicious steaks. While the town is bustling with numerous houses and establishments, creating a lively atmosphere, if you appreciate a vibrant and bustling environment, you'll...

Beach in the middle of Queenstown. Amazing views to have a few cheeky beers with mates. You can sit in front of the the water watching the sunset while having a chat with friends. People from all over the world are there and you can make heaps of new friends. Street performers will entertain you and if you are lucky, you will have the opportunity to see paragliders performing acrobatoc maneuvers over the lake before they land straight in front...

The beach on Lake Wakatipu is the perfect place to spend your time any time in every sense. Some stunning views, few mins stroll to all restaurants and shop queenstown has to offer. The water was pleasant to take a dip. There is plenty of shade but also duck poo. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks. Queenstown is paid parking all around till 9 pm.

Bring the ducks peas or vegetables and stop feeding them bread (it’s bad for their tummies) Enjoy the beautiful crisp air and clean surroundings. Soo many great food options scattered around in food truck format and great markets on weekends. Definitely say hi to the ducks, they love it.
