You know when you used to frequent a place in a town where you used to live, and their food stays imprinted on your mind? Like, you’re kind of looking for a replica of it everywhere but can never quite find it? This is how I feel about this place. I used to work in the neighborhood a few years ago and would walk here at least once a week to get a falafel wrap and Turkish Delight. Always the culinary highlight of my week, and was especially punctuated by how incredibly friendly the owner was. My partner and I were a little sceptical of going in as the shop was a little run down but it did not disappoint.
