You know when you used to frequent a place in a town where you used to live, and their food stays imprinted on your mind? Like, you’re kind of looking for a replica of it everywhere but can never quite find it? This is how I feel about this place. I used to work in the neighborhood a few years ago and would walk here at least once a week to get a falafel wrap and Turkish Delight. Always the culinary highlight of my week, and was especially punctuated by how incredibly friendly the owner was. Amir is the kindest shop owner I’ve met and makes the best and biggest wraps I’ve seen. My partner and I were a little sceptical of going in as the shop was a little run down but it did not disappoint.
