Cool spot, really great music! Although, for some reason it feels a bit "thrown together"? I've been to loads of food halls and street food halls in particular, and didn't feel like they were just put together at random, but with some kind of plan. Interior feels a bit too industrial, even though they've added color and green plants. Made me unsure of what style they were going for. Maybe some different colored chairs and tables would spruce it up a bit more.
The portions are fine size-wise, in my opinion. I left satisfied and the food actually tasted great. The prices are stiff for some of the foods, and with that in mind, I guess the portions could've been a bit bigger.
The QR-scanning seems a bit unstable at times. Meraki cook gets a minus point for being quite rude to me when I asked if they received my order, bear in mind I asked politely and was very understanding from the get-go. It was not very busy when we were there, they only had ONE other order when I walked up to them. It made me honestly feel a bit down and it tainted my experience. Please, focus on your costumers and don't get mad at them for asking you a question. I understand that they probably get this question a lot and that they're sick of answering, but I would suggest taking it up with your management and maybe not getting mad at the costumers standing in front of you.
Tunco gets a huge point for gluten free options, which tasted great! 👌 Noted that the cook here was lovely, very service-minded and easy to talk to.
All in all, an okay experience. I will go back - but only to try different foods. Would not go back for Meraki, just because they were rude...
Read moreWe were 5 friends who all got different types of food from different stands. Every single one of the things we bought were terrible. Absolute trash food. Go to the street food at Youngstorget instead as the quality there is at least double or even thrice for the same amount of money. Mathallen is another good alternative. I will never come back here.
Reply edit: We had gyros, indian and sushi. The gyros is the worst I've probably ever seen. Bland, dry and seemed like it was just reheated. Although it was a plate instead of a wrapped gyros that I usually take at the youngstorget one, so it might not be 100% comparable. Indian butter chicken looked like reheated airline food. It apparently tasted like it too. The sushi seemed like it was made hours prior to me ordering them. Tasted like refrigerated REMA 1000 sushi. It was surprising to me that it's basically the same stands as the Youngstorget one considering everything we got here was absolute bottom tier food, while everything we got at the Youngstorget one a week earlier was top tier street food..... we may have just been incredibly lucky with our picks at the...
