My recent stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Oslo was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the hotel's prime location, situated in the heart of this vibrant city and offering breathtaking views of the Oslo Fjord. The staff at the Radisson Blu Oslo truly sets it apart. From the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly and attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest. They were always ready to provide recommendations for local attractions and dining, making my visit to Oslo all the more memorable. The room I stayed in was not only spacious and comfortable but also tastefully decorated with a modern Scandinavian flair. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and comfort did not go unnoticed. I truly felt at home during my time there. One of the undeniable highlights of the Radisson Blu Oslo is the exquisite breakfast buffet. It featured an impressive array of options, from fresh pastries to local delicacies, and catered to various dietary preferences. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you look forward to starting your day. However, what truly stole the show for me was the rooftop bar and restaurant. The view from up there is simply breathtaking, especially during sunset. Whether you're enjoying a perfectly crafted cocktail or savoring a delicious meal, the ambiance and vistas are unparalleled. It's an experience that shouldn't be missed. In conclusion, my stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Oslo exceeded all expectations. It's not just a place to stay; it's an integral part of the Oslo experience. I left with unforgettable memories and a desire to return soon. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

I cannot believe that this is the first time I stayed here despite popping by to Oslo so many times over the years. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town, near a tram stop, a short walk to the train station and best of all, the bus to the airport is just right out in front. I absolutely do not have to lug my suitcase over sidewalks and cobbled streets to walk to the train station. The room is nice and airy. I love the huge wall to wall windows as it gives so much natural light along with a great view of the city. The sheets and linen were crisp and clean. Checking in was a pleasant experience as the team at the front desk were helpful, cheery and patient. My only comment is that I had booked for a room with a queen size bed but got a room with 2 single beds instead. Apparently, the hotel was full for the weekend and that was the only room available. Not sure I bought that but after a 17 hour flight, I was not in a mood to argue further. As soon as I unpacked, I headed to the bar on the 21st floor to unwind. I also explored the hotel and saw that the gym and pool facilities were available too. The buffet breakfast was a nice event, something I look forward to each jet lagged morning. The food was very good and I am glad they started serving at 6.30am each weekday. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and look forward to checking out the other Radisson near Oslo S when I return next year.

Don't book the President Suite We are a "normal" family with 2 small children who wanted to have a great weekend in Oslo. As a surprise for my wife's birthday, I booked what was probably the most expensive room in the hotel, the so-called "President Suite". I didn't have excessive expectations, but assumed that we would get a great, large room that deserved the name. When we arrived, we were extremely surprised at what this was. The size of 120 square meters is of course brilliant, but in my opinion the condition of the room is unacceptable for this price and for the room to be called a "President Suite". For your information, we would have had to pay over 11,300 NOK per night. A proud sum for which you can expect something. We reported most of the following defects to reception on the evening of our arrival: - Blurry windows that severely impair the view over Oslo - A broken granite table in the living room, a second granite table completely dirty - Cheap veneer on the doors, which is coming off in many places - Dirt on the floor in the entrance area of the room - A completely filthy honey pot for making tea. There was hardly any honey left in the pot (so we received the leftovers from previous guests), but the lid and the container on the outside were completely smeared with honey and stuck together - A large damage to the parquet floor where the wall bed folds out. - The wall bed looks like it will soon fall apart. Quality has fallen by the wayside here. - A sideboard whose veneer on the top is already showing several bubbles - Due to a dead battery, the air conditioning could not be operated, communication failed - In the second bathroom, a previous guest's beard hairs were still stuck to the shower walls (at least I hope that these were beard hairs.....). - The best before date of the sweets had already expired on several containers. When the receptionist asked me what I would expect, I just said "Either a significant discount or something else, they should be creative and think of something themselves." The result of this was a plate full of freshly cut fruit wrapped in foil. We appreciated this and the quality was very good, but sorry, this is nothing that relates to above written damages and conditions of a 11,300 NOK priced room per night. When we left, we actually had to pay the full price. I asked very clearly for a drastic discount. Unfortunately, the hotel only granted a 15% discount after several rounds of negotiations, mainly because I had various photos and probably because other guests had also heard this discussion. I'll be honest and say that this was not enough for me for the shabby condition of the room. My demand was 20%, but that was not granted. I thank you for the 15%, but as announced, I am now posting my review including photos publicly. It is simply a disgrace to call such an old and run-down room a "President Suite" and then charge such a high price for it. Don't book the President Suite!

We stayed in plenty of hotels around the globe and I never left a negative review, but this was hands on one of the most overrated places we stayed in. We booked a Premium King room, the bed granted was good and comfortable, but the bathroom is 2x2 metres, where you literally have a toilet in the shower. When asked if we can upgrade the room (happy to pay of course) we were told that even the Junior Suites have the same bathroom…. We stayed for two nights and the bed was made as per photo - my husband does the bed better… The staff are not trained, our waiter at the dinner service told us that he’s been here for less than 3 days that’s why he didn’t know what a started and a main was, completely confused out order, told us they didn’t have anything we wanted until an older gentleman came and tried to fix it and suddenly they had everything we ordered. The reception staff is frowning and generally the feel is like you’re not welcome, we were told to take the suitcases to the luggage store ourselves and put labels on them ourselves while the receptionist was looking…. Unheard of, genuinely. The rooms are dusty, the bathroom especially and you can also hear all your neighbours… the lobby is dirty (the doors are terrible) l, carpets all over the buildings are not cleaned and in general it is very outdated and tired. The positive thing is the location however as the bus to the airport goes literally from reception. And the view is a good otherwise I’d be 1 star.

What a bad hotel and terrible service. Who gave this hotel 4*? It is the most dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed. We booked this hotel because of parking garage. It supposed to be high enough for our car and what is very important you can get with the lift from parking garage directly to the hotel. Checkin procedure was taking ages. First of all we had to queue for one hour and then to do just a simple checkin was taking another one hour. It is super slow and it feels like stuff has no idea what they are doing at all. So unprofessional. We asked for a baby bed at the reception and they forgot about it. Later in the evening we had to call and ask again. Luckily we got it. The room by itself was very used and dirty. Our little 1 year boy was playing around on a floor and we realized he was so dusty and dirty. We checked the carpet and it was just disgusting. They didn’t do hovering at all. Hairs and dirt from many previous guests was there. The next day we asked at the reception to hoover our room. The receptionist didn’t even apologized. Just said - oh it‘s not good. And she made a notice to clean it up. And of course it was not cleaned at all. Fully ignored. We had also breakfast. It was okay. You have some options but the food quality is law. We stayed in many different hotels in Norway and they all had an excellent breakfast. This is not a 4* star hotel quality. The waste of money and our time.

After considering many options for Oslo, we decided to book a superior room with panoramic view of the city at this hotel. Positives: Beautiful view from the room(12th floor), breakfast, polite staff Negatives: - Even if we booked a superior room which we thought it would be renovated, it was not and looked nothing like the pictures on booking. Instead it had old furniture including a couch full of dust, hair and disgusting white stains 🤢. (We had to ask for an extra sheet to cover it) - There were no extra toiletries. So even if you're going to a four start hotel, don't forget to bring your own q-tips. - Worst of all: The drain in the shower was clogged, so every time we took a shower the whole bathroom filled with water and hair and dust was floating around 🤢. We had to stop in the middle of taking a shower and wait so the water wouldn't go to the rest of the room. We couldn't use the bathroom for hours after taking a shower as it was all wet. We of course reported this, but nothing happened. We also tried to speak to the staff regarding the room we booked, but they claimed that it is renovated even if it is obviously an old room with stains on the walls too..
