“There are better places for the price.” I stayed with my friend from May 19-21, since I had an interview at the US Embassy. Here’s my complete and honest review itemized: 1. The room is actually not small but is also not big. It was an okay sized room. 2. The facilities were meh. The elevator was so small that 5 people would already cram the space. 3. The bathroom was one of the worse in all of the hotels i’ve been to. There was no separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom (which might be an architectural design but doesn’t work), hence water was all over the place. The shower handle was also coming off! Scary. Poorly lit up space. 4. The towel was too hard and rough on the skin. And it didn’t smell new or freshly laundered. 5. The bedsheets kept coming off of the bed. It was annoying. The pillows looked old and the cover wasn’t spotless. Stain marks can be seen. And the scent isn’t fresh. 6. They use a window type AC instead of a split type one so the room took some time to cool. The window is a floor to ceiling type with no way to open so the room was extremely hot. 7. They only give you one key card so you can’t even leave one in the room so the AC can keep the room cool. The room was scorching everytime we went back. 8. No free anything. Not even coffee. And no fridge to keep your drinks cold. 9. The hotel has basically no amenities. 10. The breakfast buffet was one of the worst! There was less than 10 dishes to choose from. Limited to no selection of bread or pastry . Food was cold ( the rice was already getting hard). They don’t replensih it regularly (almost not at all). Only brewed coffee was available so no other option for those who doesn’t drink coffee. It wasn’t appetizing at all. On a good note: 1. The staff were very lovely and helpfull. 2. The wifi was stable enough. 3. It’s very close to the US embassy. I believe you can get value for your money or whatever it’s priced some other place.

I'll start this review with a TIP: use their website for online booking/reservation and give the hotel a call for confirmation. It is much cheaper than walking in and other booking apps. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want an accomodation under 2k. We booked their deluxe double room (₱1,500+ per night) also, if you have an appointment with US Embassy this place is totally worth it. The embassy was just a good 10mins walk from Airo. We stayed in room 306 and it was super spacious and clean. I commend granting my request - as I have been working from home without any natural light access and they were very friendly. Their housekeepers were top notch! ❤️I'd like to point that most of them are still interns but they are doing great! Quick to deliver and cleans the room flawlessly. I would say cabinet and the toilet needs just a bit of improvememt, but so far room is a 4 star. INTERNET IS FAST! It's good for freelances like myself. They also have a restaurant that serves buffet breakfast (which is a plus for convenience. However, for them to complete that 5 star rating, these are the things to improve: 1. Their frontdesk should have a better communication with their restaurant. There was one order that I made that didn't come through as it was not placed. 2. Kitchen was alway late most of the time. It took them 1hr 30mins more to deliver the food. 3. We ordered dinner and it was on take out boxes. They mostly miss the cutleries and its taking time for them to get one. 4. Water pipe from toilet was leaking. Although it was not a major thing as toilet was still clean. 5. More clothing cabinet. Ours was an overhead cabinet which a petite like me cant even reach. 😅 One last thing, parking space - it's cheap but avail it at your own risk as it is a bumper-to-bumper street parking.

Forgot to take pics of the room. My friend and I stayed there 4nights with hotel breakfast. Here are my experience at this hotel. -About rooms I got a double bed room. The bed was comfortable. AC worked fine, wifi was stable. I had to pretend that I did not see corners, windows and so on but it was good over all. Oh and their walls seem to be thin and you hear people’s voice. My friend got a single bed room and was long but narrow, she was fine with her room. - service The staff warmed up to us later on the second day. After they started smiling and saying hello, we felt welcomed. They catered our needs. They gave us water upon request too. I had to call them for assistance because the people who was staying above me was being so loud after midnight -1am and kept me awake. I let them know the situation and the noise decreased within 30mins. Everyone was helpful but I would like to give thumbs up for Darlyn who was always ready to help and welcomed us with nice smile. We were sad that we couldn’t see her when we left because she had afternoon shift. -location There is a 7-eleven very close by. Located near the US embassy, walking distance from the national museums, Rizal Park, and Bay Walk. But it is on a bit sketchy street and there are not many bars around. -breakfast Breakfast comes with additional charge and is open between 6-10am. I went to eat at different times and found out the earlier you go, the better the food is. I went at 6am one morning and it was great, and at 9:30 another morning and it was disappointing. So Id say get it if you were to eat early. This was my first trip to Manila and can’t compare with others but I hope it’s helpful!
