As a result of a Chinese donation, the new Binondo-Intramuros Bridge was inaugurated last April 5 and was opened to traffic on April 6, 2022 right in time before the Holy Week. The bridge between Intramuros and Manila's Chinatown was inaugurated by the Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who presided over the ceremony.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte thanked China during his inaugural address saying that they have been a "partner in strengthening major infrastructure projects" for the Philippines.

In an effort to alleviate traffic on Manila's busiest thoroughfares, the Metro Manila Logistics Network Program built the new bridges. Only the Plaza del Conde Street to San Fernando Street access ramp for the Binondo-Intramuros bridge has yet to be completed. From Rentas Street to Juan Luna Street, there is already an access...

Bridge is more for cars and, at best, bicycles. No clear pedestrian walk-ways so it can get confusing for people looking to walk across via this bridge.

Pedestrians & bicycle cyclists, please take special care and use right Entrance to get on the bridge. There are no clear barriers to protect you from ongoing traffic.

Binondo Site: Exit: Along Juan Luna Street Entrance: Calle Industria (San Nicolas Manila side)

Intramuros Side Exit: near Jollibee Intramuros Entrace: 240-300 meters from Bureau of Immigration (small alley near national press club -- future, there's going to be an entrance along Riverside Rd)

Appeal: Although understandably a new bridge... Please do not stop in the middle of the bridge to take...

We walked across the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge on our way to Fort Santiago. It was a great experience for me! We also visited here while Can't Buy Me Love (CBML) was trending on Netflix, this spot was often featured in scenes with Ling and Bingo.

It’s best to come around sunset and stay until nighttime. That’s when you can truly appreciate the beauty of the bridge, with its glowing lights and the stunning view of nearby buildings reflecting on the river. It’s also a great place for photos and enjoying a peaceful cityscape right in the heart of Manila.

If I have the time, I’d love to come back and experience it again at night, I can imagine it’s even...

If you're looking for a place to take a quick rest or "tumambay" Then this is one of the must go places that I can suggest. Best time to visit is at least 7pm onwards as long as it's still dark lol. I went here around 3am using my bike from Paranaque and the travel was definitely worth it! The place is well maintained, the lights are all working and the sidewalk that was recently opened was a grat spot to take some pictures too. Early morning there are not that many people at this hour so if you want to bring a friend or a loved one and have some chat then you should try here. 10 out of 10. Will definitely come back here
