We were a group of 4 people just looking for a good time. It took forever to order because the staff was just laughing and doing absolutely no work. Completely unacceptable. After we ordered, we sat down and waited for our drinks. I saw that one of the staff was in training and I understand that it might take a while. We waited around 15 minutes and our drinks still had not been called. One of us went to the counter and asked about the drinks. They had completely forgotten about them because they were just laughing and doing no work. We finally got one drink out of three and there was a kind of oil in the cup. Did not drink from it at all. Proceeded to wait for the other drink only to the staff to forget about them again. Went to the counter again and showed them the receipt. The second drink finally arrived. Had to wait again for the third drink. When it was given to us, it was the wrong order. The staff did not even bother to apologize for us. I completely understand if someone is being trained, but that does not excuse the lack of work I saw happening behind the counter which resulted in wrong and forgotten orders. It is now very noisy compared to when this branch opened and people don't go to Conrad much. But hey, it means business is good right! š¤
Also, I wanted to add that I was very disappointed with the drinks. It tasted diluted. I initially thought it's only isolated in this branch but I also tried other branches and they taste the same. Probably because of the milk that Starbucks use here in the Philippines. You can really taste that what they use is not pasteurised milk - instead it is one of those UHT milk that you can buy in a box 𤢠And that is unexpected and disappointing since this is a world renowed coffee shop. If one pays $4-$6 for a coffee, one would expect quality ingredients to be used instead of highly processed ones.

The cashier provided excellent service, but the area where they received the food didn't seem to care about the customers. The food had been sitting there for a long time, but the drinks weren't ready. I handed them my receipt to ask if the set was for me, but they didn't care, just saying they'd call me when my order ready, but you know, food already here. I don't mind if we can't get our food and drinks together. Do they really think customers should wait until everything is ready and get cold food just because the staff didn't check our orders?
